Russian President Vladimir Putin has demanded the bulk of grain and fertiliser to be exported under the Black Sea Initiative must be channelled to Africa.

Speaking to African government ministers on Monday during the International Parliamentary Conference, dubbed "Africa in a Multipolar World", in Moscow, Putin said his key demands were that Africans should be the biggest beneficiaries.
"We insist on the package nature of this deal - above all, in the interests of African and other developing countries, considering that they need large amounts of food - we insist on full compliance with Russia's key requirements, first of all, as I said, making sure that grain and fertilisers go to the African countries in need, and not to satiated European markets and countries," he added.

We should encourage this. Any money dumped into Africa will be like flushing it down a toilet.
We should encourage this because it shows the Africans who is sending them food, and who is exporting their wheat to rich EU countries and calling for humanitarian shipping protection,
Thus illustrating to Africa and Africans that The EU, Europe, NATO, Ukraine and the West will go to war to starve Africans for profit , but Russia will defend the food supply to Africa.

And they wonder why we are hated in most of the third world.
So, any food he is nice enough to allow Ukraine to export has to go to countries notorious for bouncing their checks. Wasn’t it just a few days ago Putin wrote off $20 billion in loans to Africa as uncollectible?

Actually where Russia is sending food is not important.
It's where Russia says they want to send food, and when the West blocks Russia from sending food.
Most likely African Leaders will believe Putin and they will observe that Ukraine and the West blocks Russian ships and shipments.
The will also observe that the same grain will be sold to Africa by Ukraine and delivered by Ukraine shipping.
The trick is: Do they have to pay a higher price to Ukraine and toe the US line to get it.
If so, Putin Wins and Africa hate the US and Europe.
If the Grain deal goes through and Russia ships food to Africa at a discount on Russian ships, Putin wins and Africa loves Russia.
Of course the US could give Ukrainian grain free to Africans, Forever ...
Also they just gave notice that the Ukraine grain export deal will end in 2 months unless we live up to the other part of the deal that requires us to allow Russia to export fertilizer without interference from sanctions and being denied access to banking and insurance.
After the deal was signed, we only held up the part of the deal that allows Ukraine to export wheat. The things Russia was allowed to export in the deal is still sanctioned.
So the Uke wheat deal is going to go away in all probability.

Putin and Xi are winning support from the global south who now prefer working with them instead of the US. Putin even forgave all of Africa’s debt to Russia the other day. So what’s Biden and his neocons gonna do now foment regime change in all those countries? Good luck with that.

Putin has already won simply by declaring intent.
The only way the US could successfully counter, is to supply African leaders with all the food they care to purchase at a better price than Russia with NO STRINGS OF ANY KIND, ATTACHED.
Something the US cannot and will not do, even if they could.
