You are correct. The prosecutor only needs to present enough to get an indictment. But Bragg is getting too cute by half here. Now that it is known that he has withheld hundreds of documents that are favorable to Trump, that information will get to the GJ. It might not dissuade enough of them from indicting trump, but it could change a few minds. I honestly think fat ass knows he’s riding the dragon and he could fall at any moment.

Pomeranz (former prosecutor in manhattan DA office) supposedly wrote a best-selling book complaining about not charging Trump, that embarrassed Bragg into the current GJ project.

Thanks.

I’m sure his defense team will bring these things up if they
are allowed to.

Judges sometimes don’t want to hear things that happened
outside the current proceedings. I don’t really know how
that works. I believe there are times when a judge won’t
allow a persons past history into a current court case.

That may be limited to a defendant. I’m just not sure.

Doesn’t a defense lawyer have the right, after the prosecution has presented its case, to move that the charges be dismissed by the judge because the prosecution didn’t prove their case?
