Unfortunately, it is not just Stanford that has gone woke.
This is the school that started the name-changing nonsense way back in 1970, when they changed their name from the “Indians” to the “Cardinal” (a singular name is stupid enough as it is)
Sad. In the past Stanford and Berkeley were model universities. Today, Stanford and Berkeley are empty gongs that lack charity and due submission to the Lord. Proof: “like wounded fawns they took offense and pouted.” That is anti-Christian and demonic. Both Stanford and Berkeley need to hire Catholic professors immediately or continue down the boring road of emptiness.

Notice that every institution in the nation including government, educational and business, that has adopted affirmative action policies has gone to shite. Without merit based leadership and high standards, what has taken generations to build is quickly destroyed.
I wonder why VDH fails to mention the role that females have played in all this. A photo of the meeting he describes notes the overwhelming majority of female law students. As he goes on, he issues the name of one woman (womyn?) after another who has assisted in the plummeting of Stanford’s reputation. It is to be recalled, however, that the university has for years been radical and his own Hoover Institution at Stanford existed as a beacon of conservatism in an ocean of radicalism. And who was seen as the lighthouse keeper? Why not Condeleeza Rice, the pleasant but feckless politico qua university administrator?

I find that statistic staggering. These incredibly high tuitions and burdensome student loans are supporting an employment agency that places people in its own organization. And I’m sure that leftism is one of the employment criteria.
My many contacts in the legal field are telling me their firms avoid hiring Ivy League grads. They’ve become poison.
Some think the hippy days faded not so Universities and colleges swung far left to keep their agendas and theories alive and look at the results.
