Nolte: Ben Carson Says Charges Against Trump ‘Absurd, Embarrassing’

Dr. Ben Carson said the idea of arresting and filing charges against former President Donald Trump is “absolutely absurd” and “embarrassing.”
Carson, who served as the secretary of Housing and Urban Development under Trump, was interviewed by Newsmax Sunday and did not hold back on the issue. He specifically pointed to Venezuela and how quickly that once idyllic country collapsed under this kind of political corruption.
“Look how quickly Venezuela changed,” he said. “That is high in my thinking because I’ve been there several times when it was a wonderful place to visit, with beautiful resorts and hotels.” Carson pointed out that the “biggest thing that people argued about is whether they were the most beautiful people in the world.” But once Venezuela’s government became corrupt, Carson said, “they went from … number one economy in South America to the bottom almost overnight. This is what can happen when you allow these kinds of things.”

Per usual, Dr. Carson’s response is measured and respectful. A good and decent man. Quite a contrast to the spiteful and self serving comments of DeSantis.

Carson is exactly correct.

Nice distraction from the Biden crime family story, which is something of a much higher priority we should pay attention to.
sarc - I hear Biden is claiming to be American Indian (but not like his VP), his name is Showers-with-daughter. God bless the first writer to address Biden by his Indian name.

You're right. In the US, it takes a tremendous amount of courage for an African-American to challenge Liberals’ policies and politics.
It's really stunting the potential of African-American politics generally ... AND African-Amerian politicians particularly, when obviously qualified and gifted people are shunted aside so less qualified and more 'compliant' idiots are promoted, instead.
The nation and US citizens are ill-served when courageous and qualified people (of any color) are held back and basically relegated to second class status within US politics and US government.

Absurd and embarrassing has taken the modern left mighty far these days. Why stop what works so well? They are results driven, not ethically or morally driven. They don’t mind looking stupid in the least little bit.

As Rush would say if you’re not attacking you’re defending. Waiting for thr DA to do this on their timing and to strategically leak things out over years would be a defensive stance. Put up or shut up DA! This is what we mean when we say Trump is a true fighter. If you haven’t recognized the parallels this is what he’s doing with the Desanctimonius announcement too.

Has anyone OTHER than Trump given an indication an indictment is forthcoming?
I look forward to no indictment, and all you trumpers being forced to backtrack and apologize for chastising anyone who didn't pledge fealty to your lord and savior. (But we all know that'll never happen.)
Well, since the original report came from several sources in the Manhattan D.A. dept. to NBC, yea, that is where it originally originated and Trump just responded to that report.
And the other possibility is that Bragg backs off because he realizes the political damage that will be done to him and the DNC.
But I am sure you knew both of these things, but in your Orgasm to find anything negative about Trump, being objective isn't part of your M.O..

But Carson is totally correct on all counts here.
Trump had four great picks for direct reports. Men that did their jobs well and without fanfare or drama. Carson was one of the four.

Remember when Dr. Carson didn't hear his name being called at the debate and then Trump and Jeb were called, but
Trump WAITED for Carson out of RESPECT, as Jeb went right by?
I bet you Carson remembers.

It's funny how anonymous sources only matter to people when it serves their purposes. The truth is, Stormy Daniels (it is so pathetic we are talking about this trashy woman because trump can't keep it in his pants) went in to talk to the DA. That does not indicate an indictment is forthcoming.
Then trump says, out of the blue, "I'm being arrested Tuesday." It reeks of trump making up this entire timeline for his own purposes. What will be your excuse when tomorrow comes and goes with no indictment? I'm sure you'll make an excuse that trump scared Bragg and Bragg chose to hold off. So predictable.

Because Trump is protected by secret service the arresting PD would be in contact with them
Perhaps wiser heads will prevail but I doubt it
