They never have to even convict him. The case would not have gotten to a trial because it was so weak.

If you think about what “their” goal would be, it would be to damage Trump. They would damage him by getting him to “act” like Trump: Over react, generate drama, and show how he inspires his folks to violence.

I think they accomplished that stuff already. Just reading some of the comments on this forum shows how reactive he and his supporters are.

It is always best to prepare for the worst, but not in public. It is best not to react before something happens; that way you won’t over react. His people should be advising him of that.

Instead, it is a fundraising activity.

Excellent point. It was reported yesterday that Trump was fundraising off of this. You know Democrats are doing the same.

Does it cross your mind that a government that would play games with a private citizen like you describe deserves to be fundraised against?

His people should be advising him of that.

Apparently, his legal and political teams were begging him to shut up yesterday.

His lawyers started walking back the Truth Social screed about his impending arrest yesterday evening.

The legal process is the punishment -— Trump is forced to spend more money on lawyers.

“It’s a fundraising activity.” That’s what I thought too once I looked into it.
