Donald Trump announced on Saturday morning that he would be arrested on Tuesday, and the nation has been agog at the prospect of the Leftist establishment crossing the rubicon of arresting its principal opponent on flimsy charges and demonstrating before the entire world that the American republic is now the American banana republic, in which foes of the regime can expect the full weight of corrupt government authority pushing back against them for daring to dissent.
But now it turns out that the Manhattan district attorney’s office, which has Trump in its sights, just may be stepping back from the brink: Business Insider reported Saturday night that Trump’s indictment is “on hold” until one more witness testifies Monday afternoon.
That’s about all that has come to light, as the relevant authorities are being quite closemouthed about this whole thing. Insider says that “a source with knowledge of the investigation” told them on Saturday night “there is one more witness.” The indictment is apparently not a certainty until this witness testifies.
But who is this witness? The Insider’s source wouldn’t say, and so all that we’re told is that “a separate source, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, told Insider that the witness is not Allen Weisselberg, Trump’s former CFO, who is serving a five-month sentence for admittedly masterminding a payroll tax-dodge scheme at the Trump Organization.”
Meanwhile, Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen, whose betrayal of his former client started this whole business about Trump having paid hush money to a porn star (which is what he might be arrested for, not any of the literally dozens of other crimes that Democrats have claimed he has committed over the last few years, up to and including trying to overthrow the government of the United States), “has told reporters

DA/AG manufactured, state-sponsored lawfare for political self-promotion has been the norm in NY State for the last 40 years.
I don't know if Bragg is doing this himself to increase his own name recognition, or if others are putting him up to it, but its a stunt.

Or, they were never going to do it and they played Trump like a fiddle. Just a thought.
The Jan 6 “hearings.” The invasion and search of Mar a Lago. The wet-the-bed dossier. The “Russia investigation.” The release of a deadly virus. The two impeachments.
All have failed. What will they try next, to get this great man?
And half the brain-dead public doesn’t have a clue what’s happening to the republic, nor is it capable of caring.
Respectfully, I did not.
It’s what he does, and he’s good at it.
I'll agree in part, my good FRiend.
It's what he does.

What I’ve heard from various YouTube commentators is that democrats now believe that this is backfiring and were shocked that instead of abandoning Trump, Republican politicians in congress seem to be rallying around him. They are now afraid that showing Trump in cuffs or being marched into a courtroom will create more sympathy for him than anything else. So, the plan now is to “arrest” him in the privacy of Mar-a-Lago, hold his arraignment by teleconference from there as well under the guise of “security”. That Trump will be “released” on his personal recognizance until the trial. So basically no “arrest” that anybody sees, no arraignment that anybody sees.
They never have to even convict him. The case would not have gotten to a trial because it was so weak.
If you think about what “their” goal would be, it would be to damage Trump. They would damage him by getting him to “act” like Trump: Over react, generate drama, and show how he inspires his folks to violence.
I think they accomplished that stuff already. Just reading some of the comments on this forum shows how reactive he and his supporters are.
It is always best to prepare for the worst, but not in public. It is best not to react before something happens; that way you won’t over react. His people should be advising him of that.
Instead, it is a fundraising activity.
Soros is using his black lackey DA Bragg to get Trump. He is using Mueller bitbull Soros man NYU law professor Weissman who failed to get Trump on the Russian collusion hoax to give the idiot frontman Bragg the legal expertise to concoct this plot. Suspect some blacks are realizing that Bragg is being set up as a frontman for the coming backlash. Blacks have to wonder what actual good this doing for them. Soros himself may begin to realize that he too may be held accountable. No immigrant in American history has ever done more harm to Americans and the American nation than George Soros. One day there will be real justice.
Some folks are looking pretty stupid right now.
The DA will claim that there never was a plan to arrest Trump, besides, not all witnesses have been questioned.
Trump's tweet may remain in the news...
' WE MUST SAVE AMERICA!PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST!!!'
They now have proof Trump led the insurrection.
Here’s another thought: They were never going to do it, and Trump played them like a fiddle, getting his followers riled up and ready to dance.
LOL! That’s one of the most obnoxious things about these people: They are so predictable.
DJT stole their element of surprise which was the ONLY thing they had going for themselves. Now they are puckering up and trying to save face
These SOBs want to surprise him with an arrest with CNNMSNBCABCCBSNBC just happening to be there with cameras. They’d love a perp walk with DJT in handcuffs.
LOL

Perhaps this report is a rumor.
Not by a long shot.
Trump is smart!
By publicizing his imminent arrest, he just might get these DemoCrap ghouls to back off.
I give T a 50% chance of success. Meanwhile, I hope the Donald is having a great time out on the golf course this Sunday.
