Governor Chris Sununu (R-NH), a potential 2024 contender, said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the money the United States is spending to help Ukraine in the War against Russia is a “deal.”
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “According to CNN polls, about 40% of Republican voters are supporting Donald Trump right now, about 36% are supporting Ron DeSantis. You haven’t declared yesterday, so I guess my question is, that’s a big chunk of the Republican Party supporting people who disagree with you on how vital Ukraine is. Explain to a Republican voter out there, who is skeptical of why this is in the national interest, other than notions of the U.S. stands for freedom, why is this in the national interest to support Ukraine in the war?”

Maybe he’s in on the graft.
Pretty good deal when all he has to do is sell his vote.

I never, ever read about Democrats disagreeing with their base. If they do, they keep quiet. With rats like Sununu a prominent member of the Republican party, why on earth be a part?

In the 1990s, Ukraine was the first former Soviet republic to purchase Boeing aircraft for its national airline.
You’re damn right it’s a “deal.” That’s why Boeing has their paid stooge Lindsey Graham all over the airwaves promoting this war as if our lives depend on it.

Absolutely a deal...
- Stop Russian Aggression now before Russia gets hold of Ukraine's natural resources and munition plants and grows stronger.
- Stop them before they have 40 million Ukrainians to conscript into their army.
- Stop then before they have even more of a monopoly on oil and gas to Europe by stealing Ukrainian's oil and gas.
- Stop them now while the world is united against their invasion and before they lose the will to defend Ukraine or impose the sanctions.
- Stop them now before we have to shed American blood to stop them.
And I support for Trump or DeSantis does not mean one doesn't support Ukraine. I support Trump and Ukraine.

Notice how Tapper controls the conversation by not responding to Sununu, but steers the topic to what he wants to talk about. An experienced cross examiner doesn’t allow that to happen. Jim Jordan and Ted Cruz are fun to watch for that skill.

You are spending a huge amount of money to maintain the US Army at its current size - 20 Divisions - 1,250,000 personnel 6,000 Abrams tanks, active and reserve - for what reason?
A. To send to Europe to fight Russia. That’s it. There is no other reason to maintain the US Army at its current size, with enormous stocks of reserve equipment.
The US is NOT going to fight a land war in Asia.

I am glad that I am not the only one who does not want to go back to a cold war with Russia or worse. Stopping them in advance only makes sense.

Note: these dumb asses wouldn’t know a deal if it hit them in the face. Contrast that to the guy who wrote the book, The Art of the Deal.
