Donald Trump's post claiming he'll be arrested Tuesday could see him DENIED BAIL over fears he'll try and incite Jan 6. riot at arraignment hearing, former federal prosecutor says

A former federal prosecutor said Saturday that former President Donald Trump's post on Truth Social sharing details of his arrest could affect his chances of getting bail and his conditions for release.

Trump claimed on his Truth Social account that the Manhattan DA's office will arrest him on Tuesday - and branded the probe 'corrupt and highly political', calling the alleged hush money payment an 'old and fully debunked fairy-tale.'

Glenn Kirschner, an MSNBC legal analyst, went on the network Saturday and compared the all-caps rant to his posts leading up to the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 and said it could affect the terms of his release.

He speculated that a judge could interpret Trump's post as an attempt to incite a crowd to riot - raising the specter of a judge ordering Trump held behind bars to stop him posting further inflammatory communications ahead of any trial.

'I would slap a government exhibits sticker on this post and I would introduce it as his criminal trial,' Kirschner explained.

'He has now just given the judge that will preside over his arraignment hearing food for thought about what kind of conditions should be set for the release of this dangerous man pending trial,' he added.

"even Cyrus Vance who hates Trump wanted NOTHING to do with this case..he saw the exact same evidence, if he thought for a second he could make this stick he would have done this when he had the chance but he said there was NO case and he quit"

CV 'left' precisely to make way for Alvin Boogums, who does his Sith lord's Preet Bharara's bidding, and thus Obama's Army bidding.

Dumb as a stump and fat as a truck.

President Trump made the post to get conservative media out in front of this and rub raw the way Boogums ran down Weinstein (oy!) in the late stages of that primary.

Not going to happen.

If anything, this will emboldened Trump and tens of millions of his supporters even more.

Trust me...they want him arrested, with pictures and everything. I can see it being all over Twitter, with the purple-haired, pierced and tatooed mob screaming “AHA!!! Where’s your big hero now???”.

I would reply, “ Donald Trump is not my hero. My Hero is Yeshua, who you know as Jesus Christ. I really do hope you know Him, because if things keep going the way they are, A whole mess of you are going to meet Him. Soon.”

Oh But Kamalla and the democrats come up with a bail fund last year to bail violent rioters out so they can continue to riot?

That’s ok huh?

This fear, mongering and lack of logic from a former prosecutor is laughable.
There is absolutely no precedent on how to arrest a former president
The Secret Service is not going to allow a former president to be arrested and thrown in any type of jail like others

Special arrangements of some description would have to be made. I suspect if some type of arrest were made, and he was denied bail then he would be put into home detention at the very worst.

For those Democrats out there and others who think that Trump would be put in Rikers island you’re dreaming it is not going to happen

I am still of the opinion that if some type of a rest happens, all you have done all that the Democrats in the left have done is make a martyr of him , a political martyr

And what that will end up causing is more of a division in the country than we have now

Every time I think the politicians can’t be any more stupid they exceeded my expectations. They are going to play right into trumps hands and they are too damn dumb to see it.

That isn’t going to happen. We aren’t going to be any European type riots here if Trump gets arrested.

I would take that bet and posit that there will be a handful of protestors in a few areas at best and the country will reserve judgement to see how it plays out.

Trump should not avoid a warrant, he should go to Alvin Bragg’s office on Tuesday morning and turn himself in and say balls in your court. What do you want to do now? Put it right back on them and see what they do. Trump needs to do the unexpected and let the chips fall.

They are not going to put him in jail. The Secret Service for one would not allow it. No, he needs to go down there and confront brag and all of them just like a shoot out on main street and dare them to do their worst in front of the press, and in front of the world and see what the hell they do

I want to agree with you. But the Secret Service is controlled by the Secretary of Homeland Security, a Biden appointee. What happens if the Secretary orders Trump’s detail to stand down?

Would the agents obey, and protect their pensions? Or would they go rogue?

This is a real, serious mess. We are at a tipping point, and an inch away from being a true banana republic.

The SS is controlled by the Treasury Dept. Now if they were to tell them to stand down or withdraw protection that sets up a I big mess. I still contend they would give him home detention of they denied bail.

Lets say they want to put him Rikers or Federal Detention, special arrangements would have to be made to keep him out of the General Population, every [precaution would have to be taken, the Military might have to guard him.

The whole scenario brings up a world of problems and nightmares for the Democrats.

He may even be able to plea out of it, before it goes to trail, with no jail time and a huge fine, which would probably be best for all involved.

No.

That was true until 2003. And it made sense to have the SS in the Treasury Dept. But after 9/11 the SS was transferred to the Department of Homeland Security. Just another crap move by George W. Bush.

Gotta have Big Brother in control of everything.

You are right in that special precautions should be made if Trump were actually jailed, even for an hour or two, But I trust those New York pigs not at all. I would not put it past them to “accidentally” put Trump in a cell with some maniac.

Yes, they really are that evil.

Expecting an ex-President to fade from public space is a completely uninformed opinion. First, they are ex-Presidents, important to history, and politicians, historians, and others expect them to weigh in on important current events, with opinions and past actions that relate to present situations. Second, they retain lots of power from their high office, so have ability to discuss important situations with other politicians and world leaders. Methinks thou dost need to do something to up your political IQ.
