The Day Trump Takes Office, The Unprovoked Proxy War Against Russia Ends
donaldjtrump.com ^ | 3/16/23 | Donald Trump

“Every day this proxy battle in Ukraine continues, we risk global war,” President Trump said. “We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to IMMEDIATELY have a total cessation of hostilities. All shooting has to stop. This is the central issue. We need PEACE without delay.”

“There must also be a complete commitment to dismantling the entire globalist neo-con establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars, pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad, while they turn us into a third-world country and a third-world dictatorship right here at home. The State Department, the defense bureaucracy, the intelligence services, and all the rest need to be completely overhauled and reconstituted to fire the Deep Staters and put America First.”

never worked inside government ... etc

That’s good. You have to be stupid to think that’s a negative.

I think it’s a GREAT point. But roll back to 2015...many anti-Trump FReepers though that was a strike against.

Many of the items you posted there were the reasons I wasn't a big Trump supporter early in the primary season in 2016.

One big difference today is that Trump has already served a term in the White House and in the process, he dispelled most of those concerns you posted.

“Have you forgotten George Washington’s admonishment about avoiding foreign entanglements?”

You mean the same George Washington who allied with France in our war for independence? That guy? Or was it the George Washington who borrowed money from the Dutch to buy European weapons for the war? That guy?

“(Does) Ukraine have enough people to fire weapons?”

Funny how no one ever asks that question of Israel and Ukraine has more than three times the population of Israel.

The point is that a sufficient population, sufficiently equipped and motivated, can stand up to virtually any enemy.

He’s wrong on vaxx mandates.

I think Trump never supported vaccine mandates.

“Unprovoked Proxy War Against Russia Ends”

The title is nothing more than channeling Russian disinformation.

It is Putin who has been conducting an unprovoked proxy war against Ukraine, begining almost a decade ago, using a phony “separatist” movement in eastern Ukraine, created by and funded by Russia, as Putin’s excuse (he’s “rescuing” folks from Ukriane).

“I think Trump never supported vaccine mandates.”

Yet when he had the authority to do so he did NOTHING to prevent Federal agencies and military under his command from implementing these mandates.

Where is his Executive Order barring vaxx mandates? Why didn’t he issue one?

Sorry, but he made a big noise about opposing the mandates and did doodly to actually stop them.

Companies released vaccines at the end of Trump presidency, so there couldn’t be mandates during his prrsidency. I don’t think he could ban the Biden administration from imposing a mandate. If Presidents could ban actions of their successors, there would be no point in having new Presidents.

“Canada can kiss the USA’s ass”

Just to be clear: I stand with Ukraine, Georgia, Japan, Finland, Moldova, and any other country that has lost territory to Russia and stands to lose more to those barbarians.

**** Russia and **** anyone who supports them!

You and Hillary were right! Trump is a Putin stooge! Are you identifying as a traditional Bushite neocon today or are you prancing around in your newfound woke globalist stooge identity. Thanks for getting the Nuland position on Trump’s promises out for public consumption.

“If Presidents could ban actions of their successors, there would be no point in having new Presidents.”

I guess you missed the part where Trump wasn’t allowed to repeal various Executive Orders of his predecessors. He had precedent to support issuing a pre-emptive EO about mandates.

I know. But I also know at least some executive orders can be stopped easily. I don’t know if the banning of vaccine mandates is easy to undo with an executive order. We need to know that to conclude that Trump made a mistake. Link to any argument you have that an executive order banning vaccine mandates is hard to undo.

The US courts almost always tend to err on the side of personal liberty. Once a liberty is recognized it’s rare that the courts undo it.

Hillary was wrong, the “neocons” were wrong, the “globalists” are wrong, and you are wrong, as are others, as to which side the war ON Ukraine is a “proxy war” - it’s Putin’s proxy war, pretending to “defend” “Russian interests” in eastern Ukraine.

Trump is just taking an uninformed “populist” position. Numbers of folks agreeing with it does not make it well informed. And putting out clique filled drival is not an argument.

You misrepresented the headline. The transcript in the article you posted does not say that the this war is “unprovoked”.

“Every day this proxy battle in Ukraine continues, we risk global war,” President Trump said. “We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to IMMEDIATELY have a total cessation of hostilities. All shooting has to stop. This is the central issue. We need PEACE without delay.”

Americas truest and most dangerous enemies are in DC, Virginia, and California.

We could handle Russia and China easily if our true enemies were out of power.
