The question of who blew up the Nord Stream pipelines is likely to remain an unsolved mystery for some time.
Even as new details surface from European investigators, one of the most intriguing clues to recently emerge comes not from official probes but via a 29-year-old open-source analyst based in Denmark. Oliver Alexander spent months analyzing data from the maritime Automatic Identification System, or AIS, from vessels that passed near the site of three out of the four pipeline ruptures shortly before the damage. He noticed that the Minerva Julie, a 600-foot Greek-flagged tanker, was headed east from Rotterdam when, on September 6, it came to an abrupt stop in the middle of the Baltic Sea.
The Minerva Julie stayed there, alternately idling and crossing a roughly 200-square-nautical-mile area above the two natural-gas pipelines, for seven days, from September 6 until September 12. From there, the Julie traveled on to Tallinn, Estonia before anchoring at Saint Petersburg, Russia on September 18. Then, on September 26, the two pipelines burst.

Monkey werx has radar evidence on others who were hanging out in that area and it has zero to do with Russia. To think Russia blew up their own pipeline is like saying that Covid started in the wet market.

What we believe individually regarding who destroyed the pipeline makes little difference. What makes a difference is who Putin believes destroyed the pipeline.
Biden did it.
“Biden did it.”
Considering that NO ONE in any position of power in either the US or Europe is claiming that Russia did it, one has to wonder just why do we have people claiming Russia did it, and whether they are abiding by FR Rules regarding trolling.

Now they’re trying to deflect guilt by confusion with multiple stories. I think hersh is right. We have a bunch neocon state dept idiots that are dragging the military along.
Nope.
LNG is the crack cocaine, that Russia wants Europe to get hooked on.
Oh yeah, there’s no way Russia did it. Why would they? What would they have to gain?
Good point. The pipelines are down the middle of the Baltic and near the major shipping lanes.
Any ship steaming in the Baltic waiting for instructions is going to be near some part of the Nord pipelines no matter how they maneuver.
There is no way to know yet who did it.
But the top suspect has to be Russia.
Russia has been using oil and gas to try to pry Germany away from the alliance with the US, Britain, France and the rest of Western Europe and into a new Molotov-Ribbentrop arrangement whereby Russia would have a free hand to conquer Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltics and intimidate Poland, and Germany would undermine these countries on Russia’s behalf in exchange for cheap gas.
Putin almost had the Germans on board, but it turned out too much for them to swallow, except for part of the SPD and AFD.
Germany survived the winter and made other arrangements for energy. Schroeder and Merkel are increasingly viewed in disrespect in Germany for their selling out Ukraine for cheap gas.
President Trump was proven right again for the umpteenth time for telling the Germans to their faces that they were fools for selling out to Putin for cheap gas.
And so it appears likely that Putin and the FSB/SVR tried one of their false flag attacks to destroy the pipeline and blame the Americans, as a last ditch effort to try to separate Germany from the US and Europe and thereby ending the consensus on supplying Ukraine with the weapons and support they need to resist the Russian invasion force.
As for Seymour Hersh’s tale, who knows what murky domestic or foreign intel faction is using him for this narrative. He was last seen furiously back-pedaling after being caught on a leaked audio recording saying it was Seth Rich that leaked Democrat Party emails to Wikileaks (and not Russian hackers.)
Or maybe it was Ukrainians on a three-hour cruise.
Gazprom, a state owned firm, owned the Nordstream pipelines.
It held all the equity.
The other western participants were lenders, holding bonds, IIRC.
So the pipelines were Russian state owned assets.
NG via pipelines is the fentanyl.
LNG is the globally sourced Naloxone.
The five shareholders of the Nord Stream consortium are Gazprom international projects LLC (PJSC Gazprom subsidiary), Wintershall Dea AG (formerly Wintershall Holding GmbH), PEG Infrastruktur AG (E.ON), N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie and ENGIE. Gazprom international projects LLC holds a 51 percent stake in the pipeline project.

Go ahead- launch them, see how fast Kaliningrad becomes Polish territory, the Black Sea fleet joins the Moskva on the bottom and Russia gets its butt thrown out of Ukraine.
The Russian armed forces can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag and they can't use nukes or they'll get nuked in return. So just have a nice cup of STFU.
I still don't rule anything out. Biden may have ordered
it done. I would hope not, but with his strategic advisors
(loosely termed), I wouldn't rule that out.
I think Russia had planned to refuse to sell oil to
European nations, so I'm not totally sure it couldn't
have seen this as a propaganda plus, claiming the West
did it.
I believe a lot of folks have taken for granted the US
did it, so if that is proven, I'm not sure exactly what
difference it would make at this point. Russia could
demand the US pick up the tab for repairs. It could
retaliate with a higher level of justification.
If this ship did have a part in the operation to take out
the oil lines, it's rather interesting that it then
traveled to Estonia and St. Petersberg. It seems as
if that wouldn't be a very sound thing to do, if it was
involved and Russia wasn't involved as well.
Still watching this play out.
