Good evening, lightman, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
And a blessed Second Sunday in Lent (Western)/Sunday of Orthodoxy (Orthodox).
Is your outdoor snow equipment still lonely?
We might have a whole week without snow. Please let it be true.
Equipment is still bored.
I’ve been keeping daily weather observations here for nearly 27 years.
The previous “nearly snowless winter” record was 6 3/8 inches during the winter of 2001-2002.
That record is likely to fall because so far this “winter” has had ONE whole inch of snow.
Or we could be in for at least 5 3/8 inches of March surprises.
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
THANK YOU
for your service!
“still have melting snow in May.”

That makes my great grandparents’ bones shiver! All 7 of ‘em (long story, don’t ask)! One was Inuit! Nobody knows when she got to Pinsk, or how it was that she was Jewish...lost tribe or somethin’.
Well, I’ve gotten old and sentimental. I couldn’t listen to more than a minute of that song before tears welled up and I had to shut it off.
Good of you to post that.
G-d Bless!
Good evening, luvie, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thank you for the hymns.
Good evening, Kathy! And a blessed Sunday to you, too. I hope you have a lovely non-stressful week.
Gotta go now. I have to get up early in the morning, and that’s not easy for the night owl. :)
Yesterday at Comanche Lake:
How's everyone doing this morning?
Exploring Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest!!! | History Traveler Episode 274

If you’ve been watching this series, you knew that it had to be coming sooner or later. We’re ascending the mountain to the Eagle’s Nest to explore this massive building project that was a gift to Hitler on his 50th birthday and was later taken by men of the 101st Airborne Division as they moved into the area of Berchtesgaden. Enjoy!

“It is really disturbing to watch these people smiling / laughing and having a grand time when millions of innocent people were being slaughtered.”
Hai Kathy! (((HUGS))) Had a great time heading to SF from Seattle, then to LA, Phoenix and Vegas. Stayed overnight then took folks back home to Seattle. On Sunday, I had to take a friend to emergency for heart issues (yep, vaxxed) - she’s okay and spent the night with her at her place. Doing okay now. I’m home for now.
