CNN, citing its sources in the Ukrainian General Staff, reports that on February 28, 2023, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to:

▪️ 259,085 people killed, died from wounds, diseases;

▪️wounded, crippled 246,904;

▪️deserted, as well as missing - 83,952;

▪️ captured - 28 393.

Russia has lost only about 14k troops. Talk abut one sided victories, the Russians have led an incredible operation in Ukraine. I guess propaganda is only good for raising money, because it sure as hell isn’t winning any wars.

Fixed it for you. The goal was to storm the airport and airlift in troops and tanks to to Kiev.

Don’t fall for fake news. It’s attributed to CNN but there is no linked CNN source. They’re just made up numbers. This fake was first published by a random Twitter user 4 days ago. Even Wagner’s telegram channel says it’s fake.

The reason they create these fake stories is because even when people point out they’re made up, someone will chime in with ‘but they’re very high in any case’. So the fake stories like this anchor the casualty estimates at a higher level than would otherwise be the case.

It’s also nice for them when someone with some name recognition posts it.

Complete BS. Russia's goal was to liberate Russian speaking populations that Kiev was trying to eliminate. And to do that with as few civilian casualties as possible and without getting their own troops killed. In the face of Ukraine using civilian populations as human shields and just throwing their untrained soldiers in front of Russian artillery. Russia has been incredibly successful with it's slow and study tactics.

The source is the Ukrainian General Staff (military) as cited by CNN.

If anything, those figures are biased to the low side.

The reality is much worse. As those dead and disabled soldiers were almost certainly their best and most well trained. You don’t throw the JV out there first when you’re being invaded.
