Some years ago, a homeless man kept sleeping on the steps of the Santa Ana city building. He kept getting arrested.
ACLU or someone sued the city—saying he was Free to sleep where ever he wished.
They won.
Guy got paid $250,000 cash.
A year later-—he was back sleeping on the city building steps. DEAD BROKE

So let’s see what is sure to happen. Blacks from other states come flooding into CA to get their “share” of the booty. Meanwhile tax-paying whites and perhaps the legal Spanish speakers leave to avoid paying for it. What could go wrong?
So, deduct from this reparations payment the costs of extra jails, welfare payments, payments of bastard kids, cleaning up after riots, bloated federal govt. salaries, etc., and I think they owe us money.
What a bunch of bull shit! Reparations for what? After years of welfare, affirmative. action etc. You can bet many of the so called blacks immigrated to this country long after slavery was gone, from the islands, Africa, etc. and will have their hands out too.
I have family in California and pray they will come to their senses and leave before it’s too late.
Twenty years ago a co-worker who was quite a liberal said if we did not pay welfare we will have endless riots. Well this is just a more organized step in the same direction.
I have seen a form of reparations in the manner of mandatory job training but a moments reflection shows that something more than training will be necessary to stop crime. The temptation for an easy buck will win over the effort to earn money. It starts when kids leave school to work for drug dealers. Extortion will not work and the majority will change their government if this ever passed.

Assuming this involves money only from CA resources and not one penny of Federal (OUR) tax money, CA can do what ever they want. Just one more reason I’m glad I don’t live in CA.
