In today's society, there's an endless cycle of perpetual victimization in the oppression Olympics regarding who can claim to be the most offended or aggrieved. This tiresome act was on full display recently during a school board meeting when one member of the board implied she was discriminated against for being Muslim because many people were confused by her statements that described the World War II Battle of Iwo Jima as "evil."
Apparently, confusingly vague statements made by "woke" educators are yet another thing that is discriminatory in this country.

Abrar Omeish, a Democrat and Fairfax County School Board member, made the inflammatory remarks at a meeting while discussing some of the well-known historical events that occurred in February. Many people were upset over her description of Iwo Jima and her failure to specify as to what she meant by “evil.”
“There’s also a lot of history in February. A number of community members reached out to me just a few days ago. It was Japanese Day of Remembrance,” Omeish said. “Just something for us to reflect on as we learn our history and think about it. The days when Iwo Jima unfortunately happened and set a record for really what I hate to say human evil is capable of. So that’s something just to remember, especially actually in advance of Holocaust Remembrance Day.”. . .
Omeish tried to explain her comments, but she only made things worse. She criticized the Japanese for their brutal tactics but then attempted to equate their ruthlessness with Japanese internment camps in the United States in the 1940s. Yet much of what she claimed was historically inaccurate.

Just another imperialist/colonialist episode where the evil white people — most of them undoubtedly cishet, misogynist, and Christian — defeated hopelessly outnumbered valiant defenders, who were people of color. Probably wiped them out with their white supremicist death vision. And then they raised an infamous symbol of racism and oppression on the top of Mount Suribachi. She probably wants this to become the standard narrative taught in the schools, if it isn’t already.

The ELECTED Board Member’s father, Esam Omeish, recommended his mosque hire Anwar Al Alwaki. They did. Two of the 9-11 terrorists worshiped at her mosque, as did the Fort Hood shooter and even the Virginia Tech shooter, and several Muslim Brotherhood leaders. Her father was chosen by Gov. Kaine for the Virginia Commission on Immigration, but he was fired after his comments praising Palestinian terrorists were publicized in the press.
The ties between her mosque and terrorism are so strong and so abundant, it has become known simply as “the 9-11 mosque.”
Personal aside: a good friend of mine was brought to America as a slave by the leadership of this mosque; she managed to run away.
