New Jersey woman fighting eviction blows herself up in house full of cats

It was worse than a catfight.

A New Jersey woman’s fight against eviction ended in a deadly blaze Wednesday when she intentionally started a fire in the home she shared with dozens of cats and refused to vacate.

The woman and dozens of cats died in the massive fire, which broke out shortly after 11 a.m. in Roosevelt, authorities said.

State police had served the unidentified woman an eviction notice but she refused to leave and threatened to blow up the house.

Think of all the poor Vietnamese who could have lived off those cats for a week.

Per the article, neighbors say that the woman’s ex-boyfriend has been trying to get her out of his house for years, and was hampered by the Covid moratorium on ousting deadbeats, etc.

Some poor soul lived in an “attached unit”, and lost all her possessions. This was an evil deed.

No, we don’t know that. But since the article states she shared the home with “dozens of cats”, it’s far more likely than not.

Well They don’t exactly say why she was being evicted. It could have been because of the cats. But most likely she didn’t pay a dime in rent for a long time due to that constitutionally illegal covid crap stopping the landlord from evicting her. So the landlord may not have had the money to keep the insurance.

Any cats that could get out likely did.

There was a study some years ago about cats and dogs in house fires. The cats got the H outta Dodge while the dogs chose to die with their owners.

RIP

One thing that is so bad about this story, is the fact, situations such as this are ones the left uses to demand more tax money for “services” to those that are under threat of eviction or need mental health services. Sob stories are told and the tax-payers approve new laws, more money, and policies to provide such funds for assistance.

However, those funds and that assistance never actually arrive for the people that could benefit. Instead, it goes for “studies” and to think-tanks, and to brother or sisters-in-law of the policy-makers who quickly create a non-profit to which money flows.

Everyone involved in creating the fund pockets a few hundred thousand dollars for their contributions to the project, and an “invitation only” dinner is held to celebrate their achievements. The dinner features and celebrates one person who received a rent-assistant check for $150.00. The last of the funds are used to pay for the dinner itself. Then, the next year another sad instance is used to do the entire thing over again.

Programs such as this is how mid-sized city “departmental managers” suddenly find themselves with large sums of money in which to spread around and buy support. That support allows them to move up to the state-level where they do it on a larger scale. The next thing you know, they are running for mayor of a city, for a state representative position, or even the governor of their state. Soon, they are Stacy Abrams running for Governor of the State of Georgia, which puts her in a position to pay off her old debt and well on her way to becoming a millionaire.

That scenario is breathtaking. I was literally getting wound up as I read it. And, you’re exactly right. Folks know how to play the game...on the backs of the very people that need the help, and to the general citizen’s (us) detriment.
