Mississippi has become the latest state to ban health care professionals from providing “gender-affirming care” for transgender youth in what officials say will stop the attempt to “push a sick and twisted ideology” on children.
Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican, signed the GOP-led House Bill 1125, also known as the “Regulate Experimental Adolescent Procedures (REAP) Act” into law on Feb. 28.
Under the legislation, which is effective immediately, individuals in the state are banned from “knowingly engaging in conduct that aids or abets” the performance or inducement of gender transition procedures for Mississippians under the age of 18.

‘Gender-Affirming Care’ is an oxymoron.................

When Jen Psaki was still at the White House, she warned States against passing this sort of legislation. She expressed the administration position that we should do hormone treatments and should do surgeries on transgender minors. She had said , to paraphrase , that so-called gender affirming care is approved of by the medical profession.
The way liberals view this issue, is to look at it as a civil rights issue. Time will tell if the Liberals file lawsuits against Mississippi and any other state which seeks to ban these treatments.
But if they do file lawsuits,, they will undoubtedly claim that it is somehow a violation of constitutional rights to ban this sort of medical treatment.
Good. Another thing good about it is that it makes the man in the White House livid.
The left’s holy grail is forcing the public to pay for abortion, euthanasia, aids care, and sex ‘change’ operations.
Now ban it for adults too.

We need to refuse to use their language.

Oy vey. I posted story this morning about Missouri limiting who may talk to school kids about gender, plus they’re going to vote on bill to prevent transgender “girls” from enrolling in girls’ PE classes. I guess I simply got confused when I posted this comment. Article:
