Easily the worst mayor in Chicago history and that is saying something. Lightfoot failed to intervene as arsonists, looters, and rioters destroyed the Magnificent Mile shopping district in 2020. She was an angry and divisive mayor who was anti-police all of the time and constantly blamed others for her many failures.
The tragedy for Chicago is that a Communist wacko, Brandon Johnson, qualified for the April 4th run-off election. Paul Vallas is a centrist candidate. Johnson is supported by the corrupt Chicago Teachers Union, a Marxist union.
