Again, like so many other things, this was known for a long time but the sane people of the Western world are no longer listened to.

There isn’t a good software tool that helps EV owners plan their trips.

Sure there is! It's called YOUR BRAIN!.....................

allowed Maddie to put her cash toward college, not fuel

Is electricity free?

I am not at all sure how cost-effective these things really are.

If ABC News thinks it’s rough now - wait til Biden and dems push to outlaw internal combustion cars...

Tesla owners are “meeting up” socially at WaWa convenience stores where they have six or eight parking spots in a row with charging stations. They have to be there for a while, so many as well chat/shoot the breeze, no?

The disinformation and outright lies are mind blowing.

Consider if you will...the MSM starts to get behind the lunacy of Electric Vehicles and the destruction of the fuels industries and by that mechanism, the destruction of our nation.
The Deep State does not like it and refuses to go quietly into that good night. They retaliate with threats, violence and arrests of the journalists and publishers who are fomenting dissent from the Party line.
The media decide to not be cowed or extorted. We The People get behind the efforts of the media and start storming locations where government agency sycophants and employees congregate. It would be the swelling of a movement whereby we could take our country back. The only option left to the Regime would be to start killing people en masse.

The actual source of the “logistical nightmare” quote:

Quiroga’s sister, who lives in Northern California, takes her internal combustion car — not her Tesla Model S — when she needs to drive across the state. Even Quiroga’s team of reporters has to carefully plan and calculate how far EV charging stations are when they conduct comparison tests among manufacturers.

“These comparisons tests are a logistical nightmare. We plan meals around recharging the vehicles,” he said. “We need to have the battery at 100% or close to it to test a vehicle’s performance. We have to time everything — it requires more work.”

So the “logistical nightmare” is caused by making sure all battery-performance comparisons start at 100% full.

Even far-left ABC News admits that electric vehicle owners face a “logistical nightmare” when it comes to everyday use, not to mention long drives.

As many as 25% of electric auto chargers don't work.

A Quarter Of All EV Chargers Don’t Work, Half Of Car Trips Are Less Than 3 Miles

The [push for all electric vehicles is a push to severely limit mobility of the citizenry. All totalists hate mobility in their populations. It is harder to control people who can just get uup and go somewhere.

if it’s sooo great, WHY do taxpayers have to pay for stations???

i’m sure AMACO, Sunoco and all the rest would have liked that deal

“”We need to have the battery at 100% or close to it to test a vehicle’s performance.””

Most battery manuals recommend ONLY charging to 80%, and do not let it fall to under 20%. This is to keep the battery ‘healthy.’ Will any vehicle testing reflect this, instead of how many miles on a full charge? Doubtful. Also, over and over I read about fast and super charging, but they do not mention the damage to the battery, and the damage to the overall lifetime of the battery.

Some European ferry companies have banned EVs due to the EV vehicle fires. Some New York buildings have banned EV bikes and scooters due to fires.

It is not just EV autos that are burning. Research Moss Landing battery fires for a glimpse of the lovely future the democRATS have planned for us. There was a functioning natural gas electricity plant at Moss Landing. They shut it down, and are using the buildings for the batteries (they state they will charge all the batteries with solar panels. I believe that will be a little difficult at night, just sayin’). President Trump demonstrated, by letting the drillers Drill Baby Drill, that we are the Saudi Arabia of natural gas. Abundant, inexpensive energy equals more freedom, and the democRATS hate it. Obama installed massive natural gas tanks on some of his properties, and the Oregon governor just spent over & $300,000 for natural gas power generation in his mansion. As the leftist wackos try to eliminate oil and natural gas for the rest of us, they have no issues with using it.

UPS and FedEx have invested billions in natural gas. You can easily use natural gas to power the internal combustion engine. Many cities converted all kinds of transport and service machines to natural gas. The huge trash collection machines that drive up and down the block each week have large signs on them: Clean-Burning, Natural Gas Vehicle. In the democRATS Brave New World, will all these city and county machines have to be scrapped? Will FedEx and UPS be forced to demolish their natural gas fueling depots? They spent billions because the democRATS stated that natural gas is the ‘clean burning’ fossil fuel.
