Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were ill prepared for just how low down the Hollywood “pecking order” they’d be, according to a former friend of the actress.
TV presenter Nick Ede, who says his friendship with the former “Suits” star started years before she had her sights set on the palace, claims that the pair didn’t realize they wouldn’t be known as “Hollywood royalty” when they moved across the pond to California.
“I think they came in and thought that the number one people on the block and they’re not really,” Ede, who says he lost contact with Markle when she started dating the Duke of Sussex, told the Express.
“They’re kind of quite far down really in that pecking order. And I think that’s been an issue with them, in that sense of stepping down.”
Ede, 49, claims the royals don’t carry the same prestige in Hollywood as other stars like the Kardashians, for example.
“I think the thing is that you forget that in Hollywood, royalty isn’t somebody with a title,” he explained. “It’s J.Lo, it’s Sharon Stone, it’s Beyoncé, it’s the Kardashians. That’s their royalty.”

We don’t watch south park in our household...but we ARE going to watch this episode and tell all of our family and friends to do the same simply because meghan doesn’t want us to. You’d think even trashy semi-royalty would understand how the psychology of trying to shut down publicity works. Two words for these two...moe and rons.

Harry had no appreciation for his birth situation. Once Charles informed him of his plan to reduce the number of people on the Royal dole, he could have had Charles pay for tutors to maximize his educational possibilities and go get a decent job that paid hundreds of thousands of pounds per year, as well as live off the interest of his estimated $70 million net worth.

I learned that when I worked at a five-star resort in Hawaii where these people vacationed. The stars/celebrities did, too.
The studio owners were the actual stars, and they had the money. Some had one nanny for each kid that traveled with them. The wives were enemies of each other and there were physical cat fights between them — over beach chairs, etc.
The “stars” were second class citizens compared to the owners.
Meaghan and Harry tend to have lot of ‘ex’ pals, ‘ex’ family and ‘ex’ employees.... And those are the people who used to like them... They are a pair of pathetic whiners who’s ‘woe is me’ attitudes are making them less and less likeable as each day goes by...
They claim that they desire privacy and their wishes will come true soon enough, when absolutely nobody pays attention to them anymore.
They have now achieved something most famous people have nightmares about... Infamy!
Give it time.
