Pro-Trump cartoonist Scott Adams pulled the mask all the way off this week, declaring on his podcast that white people should “get the hell away from Black people” while labeling African-Americans as a “hate group.”
Adams, who has written the satirical office comic strip Dilbert for more than three decades, said during his Coffee with Scott Adams online video program that current polling proves that there is “no fixing” the current racial tension in America and that whites should live in largely segregated neighborhoods.
Citing a recent Rasmussen survey showing 53 percent of Black people agree with the phrase “It’s okay to be white,” which the Anti-Defamation League has deemed a hate slogan, Adams said on Wednesday that this was the “first political poll that ever changed my activities” while launching into an overtly racist rant.
“I’ve been identifying as Black for a while because I like to be on the winning team,” the right-wing culture warrior sarcastically noted. “And I like to help. I always thought if you help the Black community, that’s sort of the biggest lever, you could find the biggest benefit.”
He added: “But it turns out that nearly half of that team doesn’t think I’m okay to be white. Which is why I identified as Black so I could be on the winning team for a while.”
Turning back to the poll results, Adams said he’s now “going to re-identify as white” because he doesn’t “want to be a member of a hate group,” which he claimed he had “accidentally joined” with his trollish Black identification. “If nearly half of all Blacks are not okay with white people—according to this poll, not according to me, according to this poll—that’s a hate group,” Adams proclaimed.
From there, Adams urged white viewers to completely segregate themselves from Black Americans.
“I would say, based on the current way things are going, the best advice I would give to white people is to get the hell away from Black people,” the 65-year-old author exclaimed. “Just get the f*** away. Wherever you have to go, just get away. Because there’s no fixing this. This can’t be fixed.”
Reiterating that whites need to “escape,” Adams said that he had already done so by moving to an area “with a very low Black population.” He then cited to justify his assertion that there’s a “correlation” between a “mostly Black” neighborhood and “a bunch of problems he didn’t see” in majority-white areas.
“So I don’t think it makes any sense as a white citizen of America to try to help Black citizens anymore,” Adams huffed. “It doesn’t make sense. There’s no longer a rational impulse. So I’m going to back off on being helpful to Black America because it doesn’t seem like it pays off.”
He continued: “The only outcome is I get called a racist. That’s the only outcome. It makes no sense to help Black Americans if you’re white. It’s over. Don’t even think it’s worth trying.”
Later in the program, he again said you “just need to get away from them,” especially “those who don’t want to focus on education.” Adams followed that up by saying he’s “really sick of seeing video after video of Black Americans beating up non-Black citizens,” insisting that it’s “every damn day” he sees a clip of “some Black person beating the shit out of some white person.”
The Dilbert creator has seemingly embraced more radical positions former President Donald Trump to Jesus in late 2015. Since then, he’s openly while dipping his toes into. Outside of, Adams also that if Joe Biden won the presidential election, there was a “good chance” Republicans would be hunted down and “dead within a year.”
Last year, Adams introduced a Black character for the first time in his strip’s 33-year existence, though it seemed it was largely to poke fun at “woke” culture and the LGBTQ community. The character’s plotline revolved around his identifying as white, only for management to ask if he could also identify as gay.
Amid the incorporation of the anti-”woke” plot lines, Dilbert was from 77 newspapers by publisher Lee Enterprises. Adams, for his part, claimed the move “was part of a larger overhaul” of comic syndication. At the same time, however, he also said it’s “possible” the strip was pulled for other reasons.
“Do you think they flipped coins to decide what to keep and what to delete? It wasn't about popularity or cost. (That I know.),” . The cartoonist has also that his short-lived television series was canceled from UPN because he’s white.
“I moved from a Southern town that is 77% black to a Midwest town than is 98% White. Can’t begin to tell y’all how different EVERYTHING is.”
This. I just believe a lot of the comments on here are from people who don’t live around a lot of black people, or at least inner city black people. I live near a metro area that is about 51% black. I have felt threatened enough to show my gun 3 times to avoid violence. All three incidents involved young black males, never a white person. I have had a cousin killed by a black male, and a sister robbed with a gun stuck in her face by a black male. No crime of violence has ever happened to my family by white people. Now that I’m retired I stay as far away from them as I can. It’s better for everybody.
This is starting to have a profound effect on many of us, particularly those of us who spend a lot of time on social media.
These videos are daily and the violence is undeniable.
Before the parallel advances in social media, security cameras, and ubiquitous smart phones, we weren’t flooded with these images.
Today, we are.
The Deep State wants white racial violence—they are doing everything they can to foment it so they can crack down even more.
Fortunately most folks use common sense—and understand that the best way to avoid trouble is to stay away from it, far away...
and if they want to call that “racism” then so be it.
One of the comments under Adam's post:
Scott has become somewhat unhinged lately. I’m a Christian, so I don’t hate anyone and I want all men to give their lives to Christ. This kind of rant doesn’t help at all.
“Paging Gary Larson, Mr. Gary Larson, please pick up the white courtesy phone.”
I truly miss “The Far Side.”
And Scott Adams is spot on, but it’s going to cost him. I hope he’s been investing wisely.
The new code phrase is “people who annoy you.”
😊
In regards to segregation, are we saying maybe the south did have it right? Worth a reconsideration.
It is great that you do not hate anyone.
The problem is that many people hate you—because you are white.
Bingo.
He will lose more white fans than black.
The newest code phrase is, "I want to live on a farm."
Apparently, this means, "I don't want to live around black people."
I want to live on a farm.
Wholeheartedly agree!
Scott saying “get away from black people” is close enough and heavily implied.
It doesn’t appear to be working out that way.
Scott is friendly, entertaining, and has some insights. But I don’t rely on him for insights. I’m not an Adams follower.
From my limited experience, the older Black people I meet are friendly. I see these people in neighborhoods, in stores, both buying and as cashiers. Some are religious, and as friendly as can be.
I don’t meet as many young Blacks. Some are nice. Some are clueless on how to interact with adults. The same could be said of young Whites. I did see a teenage boy with a “Justice” shirt and a scowl. I did not feel comfortable making eye-contact, much less voicing pleasantries.
We have to realize that Democrats blame America for the sins of Democrats. This includes slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, the KKK, and systemic racism: abortion, family busting welfare, low quality government schools, encouraging rioting, soft-on-crime, the minimum wage, Black victimhood, and respect robbing affirmative action.
Democrats, not America, have been hard on Black Americans. Yet it seems that Democrats understand Blacks. Heck, they used to own them.
“I just believe a lot of the comments on here are from people who don’t live around a lot of black people, or at least inner city black people. “
I grew up in a working class area right next to black zones.
There is a BIG difference between those who work for a living and the black underclass. The latter have decided that the reason their lives suck is because of white people.
Following Reconstruction and prior to LBJ's Civil Rights Acts, it's often been recorded that blacks and whites in the south got along just fine.
There were, however, a very strict set of rules that both races followed to ensure harmony.
Blacks were offered opportunities to thrive and prosper, as were whites. And many in both races did.
And then Jewish college kids from the North showed up and demanded this entire system be upended.
And it was.
Many years ago I moved out here deep into the woods.
One of my not very friendly black co-workers asked me if there were any black people in my new small town.
(The jerk could have looked up the stats for himself, but whatever....)
My answer:
“Everyone has very long driveways and lives far apart from their neighbors. I have no idea who lives there.”
“Just stay away from the trash no matter what color, race or creed.”
Yep. We had a very Godly black woman named Estelle that took care of us when we were little. My sister and I were sitting on the couch watching the Watts riots on television and we were scared. She came in and said to us, “ children, trash is trash, it doesn’t make any difference what color it is.”
Whether or not he was being serious, we know he's right simply by looking at the flight from blue cities & blue states to red law-and-order states.
We live in HELLINOIS and it's the #2 OUTFLOW migration state in the Country.
Coincidence? Nope. Chicago crime run amok and a state with one of the most lax bail laws? You bet.
