Crist was just the Democratic candidate for Governor in 2022 opposing DeSantis, and you think Trump is that far out of it, despite living in Florida? OK. It’s possible.
Crist was a Republican Governor of Florida and he pushed conservative ideas. He became a democrat and an independent later.

My take as well. Trump, no matter what happens, guarantees the Democrats win the White House in 2024. He has become toxic on all fronts and to nearly every key demographic needed for victory.
