Missing British child Madeleine McCann’s parents have agreed to a DNA test for a Polish woman who believes she’s their daughter — though even representatives for the young woman making the stunning claims admit that her background is “messy.”
Gerry and Kate McCann, whose 3-year-old daughter, Madeleine, disappeared on vacation in Portugal over 15 years ago, are following up on Julia Faustyna’s claims that she is the kidnapped toddler, a source told the Daily Beast this week.
Faustyna, 21, became an internet sensation this month after she started posting on social media under the handle @iammadeleinemccann. Earlier this week, she updated her Instagram bio with “Kate and Gerry McCann agreed for DNA test!”
In one of her first Instagram posts, Faustyna writes that she does not remember most of her early life except “holidays in a hot place where was [a] beach and White or very light couloured [sic] buildings with apartaments [sic].”
Many of Faustyna’s posts document apparent physical similarities between herself and Madeleine, including a distinctive brown smudge on both girls’ right irises.
“I have similar eyes, shape of face, ears, lips, I had the gap between the teeths [as Madeleine],” she wrote in one post alongside several photos of both herself and the missing tot.

I looked through the paperwork a bit; her various “guardians” have faked her ID since she was a child.
Maybe this media attention will lead her to her parents.
She may not know how old she really is.
If her identity has been faked she could be younger than she was told.

Here is hoping she finds a beautiful surprise rather then a nasty revelation.
Lots of children are trafficked by parents or relatives.
Wouldn’t be the first time Polish children were stolen from their parents.

Crazy story
Her age of 21 is just from the latest ID assigned to her.
We went through this a bit many decades ago with a great aunt who was “saved” (not quite kidnapped, but close) by taking her away from her fleeing Jewish parents. She was raised by a rich Swiss family, but never stopped trying to get to her parents. (She was 10-11 or so at the time of her removal and did not go willingly, nor let go willingly.)
Got a tad ugly and legal, and then the adoptive parents came around and ended up part of our family — as in, they converted to Judaism and literally became part of our family.
Wow, that’s quite interesting. Might make a very good movie. Glad everything worked out in the end.
How do you know her real age? Cut her open and count the rings? I can’t tell the difference between and 18 and 21 year old.

It sounded like an age progression was done on Madeleine and this girl looks nothing like her.

I think that Julia is sincere. I’m glad we now have DNA testing to give a definitive answer.

Probably the people who took her and/or who have her assigned a fake birth date, if it truly is MM.
(I still think the Podesta brothers were involved.)
