Im sure when the time comes or the phase in people of color will be excluded because AI is racist
It’s all fun and profit until AI gets all uppity and tries to wipe out mankind.
“Uniform printout reads end of line
Protect code intact leaves little time
Erratic surveys, free thinking not allowed
My hands shake, my push buttons silence
The outside crowd...”
AI may replace people but it will not be effective in the end.
Think this through, what this does is give the elites more of the perception they need to reduce the population so AI can run tasks and only the select vetted population continues, those who serve the elite and the élite.
AI is not what most people think it is and it has more to do with leading us to extinction than any kind of salvation.
Robots in the factory.
AI in the office.
Who will buy the product?
So WHY do we need 6 million illegals here to work again?
Will they drive themselves to work?
I was going to suggest the newly unemployed Learn To Code, but AI will probably be writing 50% of our code by 2025.
God help us if the IQ and sound perception of the CVS prescription robot are indicative of state of the art ia.
What they need to do is hire people to be there and let them answer the phone, tired of spending my gas money to see closed prescription lunch hour or no help shut downs.
Scary, but ...
Imagine how many real government jobs could be replaced by automation/AI,
And then thousands of public employees would have no-show jobs.
Oh, wait ...
When I call Customer Service, there are times I would be willing to pay a small fee in ordee to speak with a real human being. Even those I can barely understand, with their Russian, Nigerian, Pakistani or Mexican accents can be useful if they’re good listeners and reasonably competent.
You can’t beat a real person for understanding nuance or implications. Every so often 8 will get a Customer Service agent with a Brooklyn accent, or Tennessee orbasic urban. I feel like I hit the jackpot.
Labor force participation also is very low, at about 62 percent.
It’s already in my day. And artificial it is, intelligent it’s not. I never seem to say the approved words on their list. So we go off on adventures to find me something to want. Does not even qualify as customer service. Customer confusion and hang ups!
I can still see Dale on “King of the Hill” saying, “Computers don’t make mistakes, what they do, they do on purpose.”
I’ve used ChatGPT. It has yet to start a conversation with me.
IBM employees are very good.
Not so much their “executives”
The retard is strong with this one.
DIE (spelled that way on purpose) initiatives are no doubt pushing companies to lighten up on ineffectual wokesters. But the Federal Government is already serving as a safety valve - providing massive numbers of “jobs” for sub-100’s who might otherwise make up a greatly expanded criminal class, and who owe their political allegiance to their benefactors. They will be happy to add even more Federal jobs to soak up the labor pool displaced by AI - for that labor pool will now be in the government’s debt and will feel compelled to vote as directed to avoid ending up living on the dystopian streets.
A vastly shrunken private sector labor pool serves many interests - but not those of liberty and freedom.
ChatGPT is a mess. Frequently wrong, it also gets network errors a lot, even with the $20 “Plus” version. And it “spaces out” frequently, stopping it’s answers inexplicably and having to be constantly reminded to “finish your answer.”
