Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) Monday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends” that the Biden administration’s “blank check policy” on the war in Ukraine was not acceptable.
DeSantis said, “They have effectively a blank check policy with no clear strategic objective identified, and these things can escalate. I don’t think it’s in our interest to be getting into a proxy war with China getting involved over things like the borderlands or over Crimea. So I think it would behoove them to identify what is the strategic objective that they are trying to achieve. But just saying it’s an open-ended blank check, that’s not acceptable.”

The legislature is already considering a law to rectify this.

Well, Trump is also right on this war. As it is, I am very glad to see DeSantis speak up, as it may give some gonads to the Republicans in Congress, to put an end to this nightmare.

I could be totally wrong and I don’t think I’m going out on a limb by saying that I do not believe DeSantis to be interested in running for president. He’s young, he might go to Congress or me might not. He seems pretty established where he’s at and I think he enjoys his governorship to the point where a run for presidency probably hasn’t even really entered his mind for serious consideration.
