Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Thursday on FNC’s “America’s Newsroom” that the United States helping Ukraine defeat the Russians “is the single most important event going on in the world right now.”
Co-anchor Dana Perino said, “What is Biden’s responsibility in trying to make sure that people in America whose support for Ukraine is softening will want to continue to try to help them?”
McConnell said, “Well, I’m going to try to help explain to the American people that defeating the Russians in Ukraine is the single most important event going on in the world right now. It will save us an enormous amount of money down the road if the Ukrainians can succeed.”
C'mon Bitch, just die already.
why is this guy still a leader in the GOP. Is the Senate that lacking of any real leaders. sad.
Nope, McDorkell, the fact that you remain elected despite the fact that your lips are glued to Pelosi’s putrid posterior is the single most important event going on in the world. Seppuku - learn it - do it - NOW!
Either that or perhaps most profitable
Neo isolationists complain from under their rocks
I’m sure Ukraine is of of utmost importance to the globalist scum layer because it’s their last source of blood and money.
After decades of perpetual war overseas getting the scum accustomed to the reliable bounty of their money-laundering war machine, it all ended in Afghanistan and there was no replacement war spun up in a timely manner by Trump (his greatest sin).
Skimming off aid to Ukraine is all they have left.
The scum are getting skinny and it panics them.
Translation: Enriching our political class, their financial backers and the defense industry is infinitely more important than the interests of American citizens.
Idiot.
Only in his ugly pea brain.
Tell it to the EU countries.
Is wallet hungry for defense spending dollars
No money for hurricane ravaged Florida...
No money for chemical spills in Ohio...
But plenty for the money laundering human trafficking center of the world..
to him sure
he gettin a piece of the action
and it ain’t his money
complete waste of oxygen he is.
McConnell won’t say anything bad about Chine it’s a money maker for his inlaws.
More democrat dots all over the place.
neoCONs are truly sick traitors to our country. So worried about Ukraine, while our nation is under full invasion on the southern border and china runs wild with spy networks in our country. Not a word about any of it except Ukraine for globohomo and the MIC.
This jagoff cost 2 senate seats by refusing an extra stimulus for the American people. Instead he sent the money to ukraine. F U America says china Mitch and the neoCONs.
The Turtle speaks....most people on FR agree as long as it involves war and hoo-rah flag waving.
AMERICA. F YEAH.
The blindness of some people is stunning. The media and government is lying. 24.7.
I agree. It’s not important to me. Nothing that the Dem’s want to do is important to me. Their support of this war just tells me it’s a bad idea.
“Then go over there and join the fight you jag bag”
Five million or more people have invaded the United States during the past two years, crossing our southern border, often with the assistance of the United States government. Many if not most of these invaders are enjoying government paid housing, health care, food, and education. The federal government has been printing money to pay for this invasion, resulting in a high inflation tax on the American people.
Meanwhile Mitch McConnell, the senior Republican in the US Senate thinks the Russian invasion of Ukraine is the most important issue in the world today. Perhaps President Trump should have thought twice before endorsing Mitch for reelection in 2020.
Our borders are open because the President wants them open.
He could close them with a single order, and reallocation of existing resources.
But until he does that, our borders will remain open.
It has nothing to do with Ukraine.
McConnel is right on this, at least.
A loss in Ukraine will cost us orders of magnitude more in the future.
