The Michigan State University Police and Public Safety Department confirmed Thursday that the Monday night attacker had two 9mm handguns on his person, both of which were legally purchased.
MSU Police and Public Safety tweeted:

Breitbart News reported that the alleged MSU attacker faced felony gun charges in 2019. Those charges, had they been pursued, would have barred the alleged attacker from buying or possessing a firearm. However, the Ingham County District Attorney’s Office accepted a plea deal, allowing the alleged attacker to face probation for a misdemeanor instead.

I always enjoy Jesse’s opinion. Best to listen at 1.25 speed as he speaks slowly.

Could a more experienced firearm owner fill me in: How can there be a valid sale without a registration? I wasn’t aware those actions were separate events.
I know it would come as a shock, but the firearms didn’t commit those murders.
Of course not. The issue is the lack of strong laws to deal with these scumbag criminals. As long as there are activist DAs who paint criminals as the victims, these shooting will continue.
Deliberately vague?
WHERE were they "legally purchased"? A state other than Michigan?
WHEN were they "legally purchased"?
WHO "legally purchased" the guns? The shooter? Someone else?
Were they legally purchased and then stolen from the original purchaser?
Was it a straw-man purchase, where the purchaser intended to (and did) immediately turn around and sell them to the shooter?
In the location of purchase, is registration required at the time of such a purchase?
If he purchased the handguns after this, then he lied on his form 4473.
Also, I believe that it's a requirement in Michigan that if you purchase a handgun, you have to drag a form from the FFL/seller down to the sheriff's office within a couple of weeks. In person.
It almost sounds to me like these copclowns have orders from Shinyface's minions to cloud the issue.
This man was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic. He should never be allowed to purchase a gun.
