not just “how” it occurred but how will it affect the earth’s weather?? Activity on the surface of the sun does have an effect on us.

>> A huge part of the Sun broke off of its surface and created a tornado-like swirl around its North Pole.<<

Is that perhaps the reason the Chinese sent their balloon to our North Pole? LOL

Solar flares which eject huge amounts of plasma are a regular feature of our sun and presumably of every other star out there.

I thought we still had another 4 billion years before the sun died.

We’ll have to start packing and move to another solar system. One without democrats, btw.

Q: What is the difference between “a huge chunk of the sun broke off” and “a large solar flare?”

A: A “journalism” major vs. a reporter with an eighth grade understanding of science.

Can a solar flare affect us here on earth? Sure, if it’s big enough and pointed our way. This is why those of us in the know keep aluminum foil and duct tape on hand. The main problem, of course, is that women and minorities are always most affected.

If it was not so obviously an overreach, this could be added to the excessive list of things said to be evidence of or caused by Climate Change

In watching this video I did not see anything “break off”. I saw a sun burst or solar flare but no debris. Did I miss something?

Just a little olā€™fart. Sun farts from time to time. Just as long as it doesnā€™t fart in our direction, weā€™ll be fine.
