ABC’s Farah Griffin: DeSantis ‘Overhyped’ — Will ‘Implode’ Under Trump Attacks
Breitbart ^ | 02-09-2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 02/09/2023 11:01:18 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Alyssa Farah Griffin told her co-host Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) was “overhyped” as a potential 2024 presidential candidate.

Griffin said, “On DeSantis, I think he is so overhyped. I’m just going, to be honest, I’ve seen Trump take out every mini version of Trump for the last five years. I think right now, the party wants something other than Trump. They want Trump light, so they are boosting and hyping DeSantis. He doesn’t do national interviews. He does nothing on the national stage. I think he will implode once Trump goes after him and keeps going after him. My sense is this, how ugly this got this quickly is remarkable and spells for a very bad two years. Trump went straight to you’re a groomer. Maybe save that for June before the primary.”

“It is, IMHO, simply counterproductive and therefore IGNORANT to join the Democrat chorus as it attempts to destroy one’s candidate of choice!”

I don’t disagree, but I don’t view (what should be) honest discussion on FR as joining the Democrat chorus (whose TDS doesn’t depend on anything said here). The virulent hostility directed at those who question anything DJT does/says is
something I’d expect from rabid cultists.

I don’t disagree with your thoughts here, but the term “rabid cultist” in my view is used in the same way one person might refer to another using any other derogatory term, e.g., SOB or a Sh*thead. Like Archie Bunker referring to his son-in-law as “Meathead”, i.e., no more than a totally subjective put-down!

“...no more than a totally subjective put-down!”

That it is, but it’s a subjective reaction some of the pointlessly vile attacks I’ve seen hereon - which IMO are fully deserving of the description.
