A New Jersey municipal council member was shot dead in his car Wednesday, exactly a week after the unsolved slaying of Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour.
Russell Heller, 51, was found dead just after 7 a.m. in the Somerset parking lot of PSE&G, the local energy company where the Milford Republican worked.
Cops quickly IDed a former employee, Gary Curtis, 58, as a suspect — and found him dead in his car from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot around three and a half hours after the slaying.

First black Republican woman on council. Not sure of the White Reublican male.
So they are killing the opposition and Republicans are not out on the streets protesting?
Get in the boxcar folks!
Top one victim, bottom one perp, or the other way around?
This story is confusing. Dwumfour was murdered, then Heller then Curtis committed suicide but what is the connection?
Could be a copy cat type of thing. But, methinks, ummm...no.
How about a hint. Or at least a vowel.
“This story is confusing. Dwumfour was murdered, then Heller then Curtis committed suicide but what is the connection?”
I just realized they maybe think Curtis murdered both of these people, but why? Just because they were Republicans?
“isolated incident”
Isolated to republicans. You can bet that if 2 democrat council members had been murdered in a week, it would be the lead story on every news broadcast.
They are both bald.....................
Do you trust the “suicide” conclusion? Seems convenient to me...just off a 3rd person and blame it on them.
Same pattern, different people. The top is the victim.
The top photo is of the councilman.
“Self inflicted”
New Joisey IS Boardwalk Empire. Easiest plot lines evah!
Curtis could have claimed that Heller was a white supremacist and maybe the governor would have given him a pardon.
