Elon Musk Responds with 4 Words to Disturbing Satan Worship at Grammys Joe Saunders, The Western Journal By Joe Saunders, The Western Journal Published February 8, 2023 at 2:15pm

Most Americans probably never thought a literally satanic performance on national television would become part of the national conversation.

But after the Grammy Awards telecast Sunday, when a pair of sexually confused “entertainers” staged a primetime paean to the Prince of Darkness, it appears anything is possible.

And for all the social media comment the performance of the aptly titled song “Unholy” has generated, Twitter owner Elon Musk might have summed it up best in four words

“End of times vibes,” Musk wrote in a Twitter post published Monday.

End of days vibes

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 7, 2023

Even if sinuous, gyrating dancers, suffused in crimson, surrounding a horned-hatted figure belching out lyrics to the rhythmic screeching of tortured souls aren’t quite the Four Horsemen of Revelation, they were kindred spirits.

But in a typical Musk twist, he followed up with a tweet essentially mocking the banality of an entertainment world being driven to ever greater lengths to try to shock and awe the viewing public. And coming up short.

“If that’s satan, we have nothing to worry about,” he said.

If that’s satan, we have nothing to worry about

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 7, 2023

In one sense, Musk’s amused contempt was right on target.

As morally and intellectually offensive as Sunday’s act was — by the allegedly nonbinary Sam Smith and the allegedly transgender Kim Petras — it carried an almost palpable reek of desperation more than the sulfurous reek of the underworld.

It was as though an entertainment world that has spent decades deliberately offending all that is decent finally realized it needs to pull out all the stops just to get a glimmer of attention.

And “all the stops” means Satan himself.

But on another level, Musk is a little too complacent.

To name one easy example, the level of graphic sexual imagery on television screens in the 21st century (to say nothing of the pornography-ridden internet, of course) is light years beyond — or below — what would have been considered permissible only a generation earlier.

While no one expects married couples to be sleeping in separate beds, a la Rob and Laura Petrie, it’s not likely the country is better off for almost endless advertisements to cure erectile dysfunction or the all-but-incestuous intimacies of TLC’s “MILF Manor.” (The acronym in the title alone is obscene.)

In the schools, supposedly serious people mount arguments on why children should be exposed to blatantly erotic drag shows — featuring men dressed as women performing caricatures of women behaving erotically.

Meanwhile, administrators and leftist teachers are arrogating to themselves the right to determine whether minors are capable of making life-altering decisions about their sexuality without informing their parents.

So, sure, shock-value “satanism” in rock music is old hat. Ozzy Osbourne and the other members of Black Sabbath could be the grandfathers of the nubile succubi swirling on stage Sunday night.

But the very fact that an open “worship” of Satan was planned and performed for an American television audience — even for the kind of troubled audience that would tune in for the Grammys — is a milestone of a kind.

And it’s not a good one

I don’t think people are upset because they think Smith IS Satan. Many were alarmed about the show because it openly mocked Christian beliefs. Would they have been allowed to perform a show mocking Islamic beliefs? No, because THAT would be considered offensive. There’s also …

— JGill “████ ██” MAGA #turn22to0 (@jgillil2) February 7, 2023

Or as this Twitter user put it, “Satan stands for something really bad. Why would anyone stand for something that is bad?”

@elonmusk Its not really about if Sam Smith is Satan or not. He is clearly a human being. But the fact that his performance act was like he was Satan is just disturbing. Satan stands for something really bad. Why would anyone stand for something that is bad?

— Eda (@eda1da) February 7, 20

That is a good question. The answer might be, conscious or not, it’s a way of communicating the message there really is no objective “bad.” After all, this is a country that only recently put an end to the national regimen of barbarism known as Roe v. Wade, and the massed forces of entertainment, the establishment media and the liberal elite — including the “devout Catholic” in the White House — are pushing to establish abortion some other way.

And then there’s this:

“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.”

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.

— Cari Kelemen (@KelemenCari) February 7, 2023

That line is probably best known lately for appearing in the 1995 movie “The Usual Suspects.” But it’s been around in various forms for at least a couple of centuries (and probably even longer).

What appeared on that Grammy stage, and on television screens around the country, might or might not have been legitimate Satan worship, but Musk was right about the “end of times vibe.”

He was wrong, though, about there being nothing to worry about.

From the article:

“...End of times vibes,” Musk wrote in a Twitter post published Monday.

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) February 7, 2023...”

So which was it: end of “times”, or end of “days”?

It always amazes me how people on TV cannot read the same verbiage as written on the screen, but the author of this article only had to copy four words correctly. Or am I missing something?

Nobody should broadcast satanic ritual into America’s homes during a Grammy show. That is just evil. They do not pretend any more. Sponsored by Pfizer and supervised by Doctor Jill Brandon, ex-Catholic.

A fat, pillsbury dough-boy pervert, wearing a cheap Walmart devil’s halloween costume, prancing around in a badly choreographed act.

The quality of the performance is not the issue. That this performance occurred at all, on a venue that is supposed to represent mainstream pop culture, is the issue.

They might want to stop trying to call up the devil at their ceremonies. It doesn't end well.

I have a vision of the Prince of Darkness being disturbed in the midst of a high stakes poker game with his chief lieutenants by some fool playing with conjuring. I doubt the foolish conjurer would get would be pleasant.

Unintentional comedy...

Tucker Carlson pointed out that the Satanic Grammy Awards were partly sponsored by Pfizer, whose logo was clearly displayed during the opening credits.

Elon Musk dresses up as ‘devil’s champion’ with baphomet image for Halloween (lifesitemews.com)

Many observers are concerned about the implications of Musk’s satanic costume, which they see as an intentional reflection of his beliefs and identity.

Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter and the richest man in the world, donned a “Devil’s Champion” costume to a Halloween bash on Monday evening, complete with a Baphomet icon and an upside-down cross.

..Never understood how someone who had such clear ideas about the role of government and the the profit motive being the engine of wealth creation and prosperity could utter such crude stupidities.

Have you ever noticed how a typical leftist is immune to reason? Why are they so committed to Socialism? Because of their beliefs in what is good. Sacrifice of the individual to the common good is what drives them to the heights of their insanity. How else to explain why billions of people are enslaved under Communism?

From article.....”Has America turned away from God?”.... Yes

Romans 1:28 clearly tells us...... “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God ‘gave them over to a reprobate mind’, to do those things which are not convenient.”

People with minds like this do not like the truth......so they will oppose it. Twist it. Do whatever they can to avoid it and willingly /knowingly engage in things they know they ought not to do........The truth will sound like an offense to someone with a reprobate mind.... You can have the world’s best apologist giving the most sound arguments to someone like this, and they will create straw men. They will scoff. They will laugh because the truth burns their ears like hot coals.

And soooo.... God has withdrawn his hand and letting sin take it’s course.....all we’re seeing and hearing are simply people with “reprobate” minds running things. A reprobate mind cannot reason rightly nor will it.

Ayn Rand articulated the ‘philosophy of selfishness and living only to serve yourself.’ Never understood how someone who had such clear ideas about the role of government and the the profit motive being the engine of wealth creation and prosperity could utter such crude stupidities.

Humans who take care of themselves do not burden others with demands for support or reparations. How much better off would America be without our giant caste of looters who expect to live at everyone else's expense? That is what Rand meant by "selfishness" - a phrase often deliberately distorted and misinterpreted by her collectivist critics.

Rand basically disliked families with children as this required the adults to ‘sacrifice’ their valuable time dealing with unproductive people. After her speech at West Point one TAC asked her what she thought of the actions of one of his men in Viet nam who sacrificed himself to cover for recovering a wounded comrade. Her reply was ‘That man was a fool. Never give your life for another.’ Rand was an ugly and unpleasant human being in many ways.

The lies used are so obvious to me it only got me mad so I quit watching.

Anything I watch on the idiot box I'm quite selective about, and I've lost track of how many years it's been like that. I know at least five, based on when I sold my old home (too large, couldn't take care of it anymore) and probably closer to 9-10 by now.

Now that I think about it a bit more, my divorce from TV happened when I cancelled DirecTV and Netflix. DirecTV because of the price gouging and Netflix because of the announcement back during the Obummer years, of the deal they had with Barack Hussein Obama to create "content" for them.

My beautiful 55" Samsung 4k curved tv displays photos and artwork primarily now. Putting all that on a USB and plugging it into the TV was actually quite useful and turned it more into a conversation piece than anything else. Go figure.

Ayn Rand clearly understood the need to not become a burden onto others and how much better that ultimately made society. Some will reject this statement, however it's true: while Rand was an atheist (who now undoubtedly knows she was wrong in that respect) her thinking in this specific case aligns with Jesus' teaching "give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime." So to throw Ayn Rand's writings out completely is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

What a shame that so many don't look past the fact that english wasn't her native language and the use of the word "selfishness" by her is the #1 most often misinterpreted word about what she wrote vs. what she actually meantin context of what she wrote.

There are two books - and only two books - that completely changed my life and my world view. The first is the Bible. The second is Atlas Shrugged, which I'm in process of re-reading for the 3rd or 4th time now, and has been a centerpiece sitting alongside my Bible, on my family room table.

"Elon claims to be an atheist."

Cite? He said his god is the god of Spinoza, which is that the laws of the universe are the godhead.

That is not atheism. Atheism is anti-theism, it is the wickedly stupid attempt to both acknowledge and deny the existence of God.

The unfortunate subject of this thread, Sam Smith, is an atheist.

Musk is agnostic, and yet unlike most agnostics -- say, for instance, Richard Dawkins, also not an atheist -- who want 'evidence', Musk is actually much closer to becoming a Believer, as embracing Spinoza puts him where so, so many converts, like St. Augustine abandoning Manichaeism to take that last step, made their last and final stop without Christ.

"After a brief pause to collect his thoughts, Musk replied with great seriousness: “I agree with the principles that Jesus advocated. There is great wisdom in the teachings of Jesus and I agree with those teachings. Things like ‘turn the other cheek’ are very important as opposed to ‘an eye for an eye.’

“An eye for an eye leaves everyone blind. Forgiveness is important and treating people as you would wish to be treated, ‘love your neighbor as yourself’ is very important.

“As Einstein would say, ‘I believe in the God of Spinoza.’ So (heavy sigh) if Jesus is saving people I wouldn’t stand in his way. Sure, I’ll be saved. Why not?” - Elon Musk, interviewed by The Babylon Bee staff, January 2022

Elon, who that might claim himself Christian in the name of Christ, would go so far as to proclaim Jesus as the Great Teacher, and not recognize his Divinity? Please retrace your steps and you will plainly see that God wants to claim you for Himself.
