I have clients that initially move into these upscaled historic homes and quickly (18 months later), find a home in the suburbs. Scares the heck out of me to even go down there. Pockets of nice areas, nice street and slums the next street over. NO Thank You.

Excellent idea. Some of the most non-integrated neighborhoods in the country are in those blue cities where the elites live in splendor in high priced housing overlooking the peasants they rule.
I’m not too clear on the concept of how it would be done. Possibly identifying the rich elites by income and requiring them to take in boarders from the ghettos? Trying to subsidize ghetto dwellers into luxury condos or apartments would be extremely expensive when you could just use the police power of the State to move folks out or move other folks in.
Their communism is just an updated version of feudalism.

The problem with this, as all the stories about BiPOC clubs, dorms, cafeterias, etc show is that many blacks find it intolerable to be living among white people and being assessed by metrics that have always made sense to white people.
