Putin seeds to restore the Russian Empire. Erdy seeks to restore the Ottoman Empire, and do it with NATO’s money.

Reno89519: " England and Europe are far more deserving than corrupt Ukraine. "

England and Europe combined are contributing almost as much aid to Ukraine as the USA does because they understand Vlad the Invader needs to be defeated in Ukraine, not in a NATO country.

Reno89519: " We kind of stirred up that war and have encouraged it to continue to bleed Russia."

Complete rubbish! The U.S., like everybody else believed Ukraine would be a pushover for mighty Russia.
We encouraged nothing except retreat and surrender until, until Ukrainians showed they are willing to fight & die for their independence.

Reno89519: "Time to stop and move on."

It's time to help Ukrainians stop the Russian invaders and force them to move on back to mother Russia.

Serbia — Primarily because the conflict occurred in Europe, NATO felt that it was compelled to act and bring an end to the conflict. While NATO usually doesn’t intervene in non-European conflicts (excluding the ongoing War on Terror), the Yugoslav Wars and the ensuing Bosnian Genocide resulted in NATO feeling that it had to step up its efforts at peacekeeping and contain the low-intensity problems during the Kosovo War.

NATO saw a conflict that, like the Bosnian war, could spill over into threatening NATO countries. Kosovo Albanians were fighting against the remnants of the crumbling Yugoslavian armies and there was an ongoing humanitarian crisis within the area, with hundreds of thousands of refugees streaming into the neighboring nations while many others were hiding in ruined cities or forests.

The irony is that NATO failed to intervene when Serbian forces were acting with murderous intent towards civilians (Bosnia) but intervened when the Serbians weren’t that murderous (Kosovo). The Serbians definitely sought to crush the rebellion, and as seen n the Racak Massacre, were willing to massacre civilians to achieve the goal, but were seeking to crush the rebels rather than kill the Kosovo Albanians.

From NATO’s viewpoint, the Serbians were on the brink of repeating the Bosnian Genocide. NATO’s interests were to stop the fighting, end the ongoing refugee crisis, prevent a potential genocide and restore stability to the region

The refugee crisis was already a thorn for NATO members due to the costs of taking in refugees and housing/feeding them, so the NATO members decided to kill two birds with one stone. They would end the refugee crisis and potentially stop a Kosovo genocide

Libya

a multi-state NATO-led coalition began a military intervention in Libya, to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973, in response to events during the First Libyan Civil War. With ten votes in favour and five abstentions, the UN Security Council’s intent was to have “an immediate ceasefire in Libya, including an end to the current attacks against civilians, which it said might constitute ‘crimes against humanity’ ... [imposing] a ban on all flights in the country’s airspace — a no-fly zone — and tightened sanctions on the Muammar Gaddafi regime and its supporters.”

Again, this was to prevent an unstable situation on the borders of the NATO alliance.

In any case, NATO is separate from the aid efforts of individual countries

Turkey is not an ally.
Z is warming up his high heels for more welfare dancing and penis piano...It’s a great time to split the uke kickback moneys between Turkey and the US border. Let A go beg elsewhere. No we can’t afford both and the US still should come first.

Turkey is no true ally. That has been increasingly clear all through the reign of Erdogan. The U.S./NATO should move all NATO assets in Turkey out of Turkey and significantly move them all to Greece.

Turkey will have elections in May. Six parties are united in wanting to get rid of Erdowon. What local leaders can do the best job of helping their damaged areas will strengthen their political power. Those whe choose wisely on whom to give aid can influence this election. Give wisely and well, and do not forget Ukraine’s place on the chess board. Has God sent a chance to strengthen good results?

That’s debatable.

I thought Erdogan put all his political opponents in jail?

I know for certain that he fired every secular General in the Army and fired every central banker who tried to stop the 80% inflation rate by raising interest rates.

..I think we need to focus on the fact that the US needs regime change first.

How do you vote out a regime you did not vote in?
