The numbers are horrifying, but drug overdose death statistics can't fully convey the crisis ravaging America, so DailyMail.com has documented the suffering in some of the worst-affected communities.
There were 107,622 deaths from drug overdoses in the US in 2021, an increase of nearly 15 percent from the year prior, and shocking national trends show few signs of the crisis abating.
Just two milligrams of fentanyl - the amount that fits on the top of a pencil tip - is deadly. Despite successful nationwide stings to bust dealers, authorities admit there's no end in sight for the epidemic.
The animal sedative Xylazine - known as 'tranq' - is now exacerbating the crisis. It's often combined with fentanyl and its horrific effects cause visceral 'flesh-eating' abscesses and addicts to zonk out as they lose feeling in their muscles.
These harrowing pictures lay bare the devastation across the country - as 'zombied' fentanyl and tranq users collapse on needle-littered streets stretching from Washington to Massachusetts, Louisiana to Philadelphia.

Looks like another convenient opportunity to “fold” one real plague, fentanyl, into another imaginary plague, Covid. It’s all about confusion, gaslighting, putting the cart before the horse, mistaking cause for effect, and in general keeping everyone in disequilibrium. Did you also know that one of the big Pharma cos. was or maybe has completed
a vaccine that combines influenza and Covid. Looks like the perfect “out”, no?
two years ago they were saying the same thing about Covid, and NO ONE questioned this fear-mongering with NO photographic or even anecdotal proof. Didn’t need it, the fear had a life of its own .
As for motivation--too many were on the path before the Covid lockdowns. Legalizing pot started the slippery slope down into the pit. Visiting Denver several times since pot legalization showed a previously nice city that has become a haven for lost souls.
I'll wager the Covid lockdowns promoted experimentation due to boredom. Add this to generations of broken families, lack of respect for self and others, and societal norms are fractured. Toss in plentiful and cheap opioids to numb the misery. Our nation is very sick.
“..Biden voters???...”
Looks like RAT members of Congress OD’ed on taxpayer money....... /s
I took my kid downtown to buy some new sneaks this weekend. We parked in the garage and went to go down the stairs and there was someone smoking something off aluminum foil in there. We took the elevator instead.
Your first mistake. Teach your kids cities are evil DANGEROUS places to be avoided at all costs. Nothing good happsns in a big city. Nothing.
Just like the Opium Dens in China.
Revenge is a dish best served cold.
I used to love downtown Portland. One of the nicer malls pre-covid that was sacked by looters has been repaired, it is just empty of stores for the most part. Portland has always had its issues but it was pretty sage and fun during the day. Now it is just despair.
Teach you kids to stay out of downtown areas. They should fear them and treat them as danger zones. You should be ashamed of taking your kid there. Order sneaks online and have them delivered.
Sneak in the sneaks .
..
CALL YOUR REP AND SENATORS AND SCREAM AT THEM FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO OUR COUNTRY!!!!
107,000 less Rat voters this year.
I want to say you’re wrong about this case but in any hypothetical action by the Federal government via military on this... no way would corruption not be involved.
Yes. Exactly.
We see a deliberate killing off of young adults and the continued destruction of families. At no time in history have we seen our very own leaders taking down a nation they still live in
I can’t see, but what is the book they are reading laying there on the left?
I don't know... even wealthy people use drugs, we just don't see pictures because they are passed out in their gated communities.
Oh come now. Death doesn't stop Rat voters!
There is only 1 way to find out...
