The billionaire Koch brothers’ network of donor-class organizations is vowing to oppose former President Donald Trump as he looks to secure the Republican nomination in the 2024 primary race.
A memo from Americans for Prosperity CEO Emily Seidel details the network’s plan to publicly oppose Trump’s candidacy in the GOP presidential primary — a move that comes as no surprise as the Kochs and former president have long been at odds on policy.
“The Republican Party is nominating bad candidates who are advocating for things that go against core American principles. And the American people are rejecting them,” the memo states:
When you understand the landscape this way, it’s clear: Our country must move past the current political situation – we’ve got to turn the page on the past several years. [Emphasis added]

Lots of people are frustrated. But very few people are in a position to do something about it. AFP is. Now is the time to rise to the occasion.

No one expected them to. Much more curious about the Mercers.
Go away Koch Bros. We are tired of you and the WEF: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/feb/05/d
“libertarian”
Jacking up school taxes so the Kochs can have cheaper labor for a few years isn’t a good idea for most of us.
Koch has lots of money; can’t deny that.
I’ve read Charles Koch’s book on business; he doesn’t come across to me as very smart.
He was an early advocate for destroying traditional marriage; is a big proponent of illegal immigration. He ran for vice president as a libertarian and thought his team - I guess - were serious contenders.
He and his billionaire buddies pour tons of money into politics, but I never hear of their accomplishments (unless you consider homo****** “marriage” an accomplishment.)
I hope he does not suddenly become effective in implementing his agenda.
That would be because they don't want you to know.
David was actually a pretty good guy. Did you know... “David (left), who is 19 minutes older, was the captain. He averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds per game over his college career and graduated as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s all-time top scorer; his 41 points in one game was a program record for 46 years. “I played basketball when you could be white and good,” he once said. By contrast, William rode the bench...” https://newrepublic.com/article/114135/david-and-william-koch-mit-basketball-players
Kock is a Xiden buttboy. His conservative Republican days are long gone.
Koch, Barr, Durham and Cheney need to start their own “Down and Out Losers Party”.
Koch..... open borders RINOs.
Screw ‘em!
Libertarians are as screwy as leftists. Both are fanatically committed to abstractions. Libertarian abstractions are preferable to leftist abstractions, but they both insist on applying their abstractions with no concern for the real world results.
The only direction we need to turn the page is BACK to moral government, not criminal tyranny. We CAN NOT move forward until we end the ugly direction we are headed in.
Same thing they have done for the last 3 elections. Run Romney again you losers.
The Kochs have had the market cornered with Biden in Office. They don’t want Trump because the Kochs will have competition and profits will disappear. The Kochs have pumped millions into Biden, Obozo and the Dems reelection bids.
hey...thanx for that...I never did a deep dive on them.
These people are getting so dangerous that I fear Trump is in danger of being assassinated.
Oh yeah Desantis would get all the GOP establishment backing he could want and thereby confirming what we already instinctively knew about him.
