New North Carolina Supreme Court Sends the Left Into Fits of Rage
Red State ^ | 2/5/23 | Bonchie

The reckoning has arrived in North Carolina.

As RedState reported, the prior leftwing Supreme Court majority went nuts prior to the 2022 election, knowing its tenure was not long for this world. Now-ousted Democrat members handed down multiple rulings that ignored the law. One decision struck down voter ID and another invented a constitutional provision against gerrymandering.

Research the candidates for judicial elections carefully. Some people ignore those election issues and just vote for the incumbent. North Carolina voters made the decision (barely) to replace their activist State Supreme Court justices and hopefully this wrong decision regarding gerrymandering can be righted.

Only if some party, or parties, with standing files suit to have overturned as unconstitutional. Someone likely will.

As a NC voter.....the Democrats held a 6-1 advantage on the state supreme court a few years ago. We ousted 2 Democrats and replaced them with Republicans the last time around because we the voters, thought they were too obviously partisan in favor of Democrats and we wanted the state supreme court to be more moderate. Instead of taking the hint and now with a 4-3 advantage, the remaining Democrat judges went completely insane.

They stuck down the voter ID law we passed overwhelmingly by referendum in 2018 because uhhh.....racism on the part of voters. How requiring someone to show actual ID is racist...any kind of evidence that Blacks cannot obtain ID was completely lacking but they went on the “cuz we think so” standard.

Likewise, they - for the first time ever - overturned the state districting map the elected legislature and even the lousy Democrat governor had agreed to in a political deal. That changed the state’s congressional delegation from 10-4 Republican to 7-7. Again “cuz racism” was the excuse even though there was no showing whatsoever that the electoral districting had been done with race even in mind.

OK A-holes. Now we the voters are pissed. 2 more Democrat judges came up for election and we chitcanned 2 more of them. We DAMN WELL EXPECT the new 5-2 Republican majority state supreme court to take every single last thing the previous Democrat state supreme court did and choke-slam it into 180 degree reverse EEEE-effing-MEDIATELY. That’s why we elected them.

Suck it donkeys. You have only yourselves to blame for being extremist hyperpartisan jackasses, for just making up the law as you go to suit your politics and for spitting in the voters’ faces when we made it clear what our intent was in passing the voter ID referendum.

Now we just need to get rid of that ass-hat Governor Roy Cooper and RINO Senator Tom Tillis when his term is up in 2026. We already got rid of Deep State RINO Senator and crook Bill Burr.

You know I think inflation might have 1 good benefit. It makes George soros’s money worth less and therefore he can’t spread it around as much

“OK A-holes. Now we the voters are pissed.”

_____

I see a lot of that going on lately in states where the voters are conservative but the GOPe controlled government is wishy-washy and folds to the left once being elected. The new attitude seems to be “we voted you in and we will do our best to vote you out!” That’s why voter fraud is a bi-partisan effort. The establishment knows that without it, many would be shown the door after the failures of their first term.

His name is Thomas Roland Tillis.
Thom is the acceptable abbreviation of Thomas. *Snicker*

Voter ID has been the law in deep blue Connecticut for at least the fifty years I’ve been voting. The DMV provides valid picture IDs free of charge but you have to prove identity. Seems to work.

Now we just need to get rid of that ass-hat Governor Roy Cooper and RINO Senator Tom Tillis when his term is up in 2026.

Roy Cooper's not that bad. He's better than RINO Hogan in Maryland. The Democrats should nominate him for President. He's a "moderate" Southern Governor in the same cloth that Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were when they ran for President in the past.

They didn't care. They will get rewarded after losing the election. The Democrats will hook them up with a lucrative job somewhere.
