‘China condemns US military strike on suspected spy balloon’

I condemn China for their oppressive communist regime, the Covid 19 pandemic, their political and economic influences, and mostly for all the cheap crap that US retailers offer up as quality products.

Especially the Chinese sit / stand desk I just bought that doesn’t move up or down and but flashes a F03 error code that translates to ‘YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT AN AMERICAN PRODUCT YOU IDIOT’.

Lastly I condemn them for Chinese food. It’s not special, it’s just rice with tiny bits of food. Give me a damn Cheeseburger with bacon.

Chairman XI: “Biden, old friend, I need some reconniance over your country to find out if your guys failed to give me everything. We can use a ballon. Can you help me out?”

Biden: Sure, comrade. I tell you what, fly the damn thing over and I will let it cross the entire country before I have it shot down. You can then issue some nasty press releases to make me look bold, and I can victoriously strut down the aisle Tuesday when I give the speech before Congress.”

Chairman Xi: “Great. Sounds like win/win!”

They’re just providing cover for their man in the White House so the American people think he actually did something to protect America and will vote for him again next year. They would love to see their agent get a second term. The mission was complete when the balloon was shot down and they got whatever intelligence they were looking for. Their response is all for show.

>>the navy should be able to recover it as the water depth there is around 40 feet it has been reported.

Guys from a local dive shop should be able to recover it in 47’ of water.

>>If it tracked near the Alaskan Allution islands did it not also travel over Russian land mass?

The probable path based on backward-projection of weather models has it passing over the southern end of South Korea and the middle of Japan before heading northeast to the Aleutian Islands.

The jet stream often has loops to the north and south of its average path. That’s why we get weather like the recent cold snap.

FYI: The warhead on the US Sidewinder missile did NOT detonate when it impacted the Chinese War Balloon. It could be because the target was too soft to cause the missile’s impact fuse to work, and maybe its proximity fuse could not “see” the thin floating balloon enough, that it was unable to reflect enough of a signal to “read” its proximity. But more likely? I believe the US Air Force removed the explosive warhead from the missile, so they were basically firing a supersonic dart at the balloon, so as to take no chances of damaging the technological apparatus it was carrying!

Ok, maybe I was overreacting… some orange chicken, fried rice and a side of pot stickers sounds good right about now.

Yes.....

I finally found the tracking maps. The balloon did not travel east out of Russia but rather northeastward out of the sea between Korea and Japan. The rig suspended below seems quite heavy and very elaborate
