Willie Nelson reminisced recently about a memorable visit with Snoop Dogg in Amsterdam years ago when the two friends saw the sights and "smoked a lot of marijuana."
"I love Snoop," the "On the Road Again" singer, who is preparing for a star-studded 90th birthday celebration, told People magazine in an interview published Saturday. "He and I are great friends — have been forever."
The country legend said while he was in Amsterdam for work one time he decided to give the rapper a call.

Maybe not you, but I thought it was an amusing story, the same as I thought the first time I heard it years ago. You say “who cares” but apparently you do care a little bit, since you took the time to comment on it.
Not every post on FR has to be about serious subjects. Willie Nelson is an American country music icon who has influenced many musicians from different genres through-out the years. He, in turn, was influenced by those musicians in the past. It’s a bit of a musical continuity history that effects musicians going forward as well as showing us how music has been effected by those in the past.

His voice sucks but he's one hell of a songwriter. He wrote some of the all time great country songs.
Leon Russell messed up Willie years ago by recording his older music at a faster tempo.
Screwed up a lot of his songs.

My thought was “Who cares?” and “not my interest”, but I wasn’t rude enough to piss in someone else’s cornflakes just to prove to everyone that I wasn’t interested in someone else’s subject matter for what they deemed worthy of a post.
Some people are interested in country music and the stories that go along with it. Some or not. Just the same for other subjects.
How in the world did FR turn into such a place where rudeness is so common-place? What happened to ignoring a subject matter that you have no interest in reading or responding to?

An old cowgirl told me she used to see Willie playing in Burkburnett back in 1960 and “he had long hair then and was weird!”
