CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - If you haven’t heard yet, what is believed to be a Chinese spy balloon has been hovering over the United States since the early part of this week.
It was expected to float into the Carolinas on Saturday, and sure enough, what appeared to be the balloon could be spotted above Charlotte shortly after 10 a.m.
According to reports, U.S. officials have been tracking the balloon, which is approximately the size of three school buses, since at least Tuesday.

It’s serving it purpose, distraction. Maybe it’s our own balloon.
Meanwhile, China Joe Biden is quiet. He is a TRAITOR.
You are saying currents could not have carried from Kansas City yesterday to Chsrlotte today?

That was my first thought, too.
Too low for an EMP.

The British members of Parliament raise hell with the British leader who has to sit with them to explain his policies during sesssions of Parliament.
If that balloon isn’t shot down, the Republicans should do that at the State of the Union speech and we can see how the prissy old idiot reacts.
Oh for the good ol’ days when President Trump hosted Xi Jinping at Mar-a- Lago.
That term has lost its significance. All three branches of govt are guilty of treason. ~3/4 people living within our borders are guilty.
It's become commonplace and is now the new normal. And we're watching it unfold before our very eyes. Pops served in Patton's 3rd in Europe. If he were still alive he might wonder, "what was the use?"
No, this one is included in the 10% paid to the big guy. From what I read here last night, the Chinese tried to get a freebie in by sending in a second balloon. That one was shot down over Montana? Brandon is not going to stand for that! If you want a second balloon, you better pay up front, with a nice amount to mah boy, and a lil some for General She/They so he keeps quiet about it.

Xiden war room:
I’m up in the Hickory area. I never could see it.
Yeah, I am thinking it already transmitted the data it collected back to the Chinese. I don’t think downing it over the ocean is going to be a loss for the Chinese. They probably got what they wanted already.
If the designs were copycats it would be moot if any bits were found, since its design would already be thoroughly compromised.
“Probably releasing the next generation of Covid.”
Guns, germs, and steel... except this germ warfare is contemplated unlike the unleashing of the small pox epidemic in the new world.
Interesting and extremely concerning.
“Shoot it down over international waters.”
Once that balloon makes it 24 miles off the US coast over international waters, we basically have lost legal authority to shoot it down. By doing so, it makes us the bad guy and the US will be condemned at the UN (for whatever that is worth). We should’ve forced it down over our own territory or our own waters. It is getting too late to do anything now.
Your post brought to mind a book I read back in the early 80’. It was one of those pulp sci-fi/military/espionage novels named “Famine”.
The story (and I’ll try to be brief) is that a blight of some sort has started spreading all over the country, destroying crops of all kinds. At the same time, people are starting to get sick after eating canned goods.
The protagonist, a military investigator, discovers that cans have a microscopic hole in them, and the contents were poisoned. Then cattle and other livestock start to get sick all over the country.
After a lot of investigating, he finds a plot where people have infiltrated canning facilities all over the country, and they installed nearly undetectable machinery that poked the tiny holes in every can.
He also found out that another company, called “Your Spread From The Sky”, used small aircraft to overfly large swaths of farmland and livestock areas, taking pictures of the land and offering the photos to ranchers and farmers as a souvenir...for a small fee, of course. What the guy found out was that it was a shell company, which was ultimately owned...by the KGB. The aircraft were also equipped with hidden sprayers that released an agent that poisoned both crops and livestock.
Basically, the entire food supply chain for the US was destroyed. Riots and soon starvation ran rampant., Even the military was running out of food and soldiers were too weak from hunger and constant fighting hungry mobs to defend the country. The government collapsed ...and the Soviets come in, offering an antidote to all their problems (which they created)...IF they will surrender to them. Unable to come up with a solution, they capitulated.
The last paragraph tells about the investigator and his girlfriend, starving and wandering along the California coast, laying down in exhaustion on the beach. After a while, he hears a droning. He looks up to see formations of TU-95 Soviet bombers heading east.
This balloon...something similar?
But won’t that hurt the whales? Oh my! When will the eis be done?
This whole affair is silly.
Right over the wheat belt and several military bases.
