You forget the main reason. People like Liz Warren and Ted Cruz receive multi-million dollar book advances for books no one will read.
It is one of the more direct ways for moneyed interest to buy themselves a loyal politician.

The title does not indicate that it’s an auto biography. It’s a blueprint for getting something done. Like “The Art of the Deal”

Anyways, if Republicans would like to win again, they might want to get behind someone other than five-time loser Trump, who has only been "winning" lately at sending Democrats to Washington.

I thank President Trump for his service but the cause has to be bigger than just one man. DeSantis is my first choice for President but I’ll vote for Trump in the general if Trump wins the primary. Will Trump supporters do the same if DeSantis wins the primary and Trump runs 3rd party?
