Russia’s barbaric war on Ukraine—and before that on Syria, Libya, Georgia, and Chechnya—has exposed the Russian Federation’s viciously imperial character to the entire world. Its aggression also is catalyzing a long-overdue conversation about Russia’s interior empire, given Moscow’s dominion over many indigenous non-Russian nations, and the brutal extent to which the Kremlin has taken to suppress their national self-expression and self-determination.
Serious and controversial discussions are now underway about reckoning with Russia’s fundamental imperialism and the need to “decolonize” Russia for it to become a viable stakeholder in European security and stability. As the successor to the Soviet Union, which cloaked its colonial agenda in anti-imperial and anti-capitalist nomenclature, Russia has yet to attract appropriate scrutiny for its consistent and oftentimes brutal imperial tendencies.

Is this US policy? If so, why have we not been told?
It has always been the intent of the globalists to break up Russia and install favourable regimes that will buy into the globalist order.
This has not really been a secret, to the best of my knowledge.
No wonder it reads like propaganda.
For over 45 years, the Commission has monitored compliance with the Helsinki Accords and advanced comprehensive security through promotion of human rights, democracy, and economic, environmental, and military cooperation in the 57-nation OSCE region.
“Is this US policy? If so, why have we not been told?”
It is DEFINITELY US policy, because it’s on a .gov website and because we constantly hear it slipping out from government officials.
...and the thing is, since it is NOT a secret, virtually EVERY Russian knows this (since the Russian media obviously jumped all over it) and that’s why support for their Ukraine operation is ROCK SOLID.
For ease of accomplishment, globalists probably wanted to keep Russia together and make it go global in one swift motion. Maybe the reason they hate Putin.
Isn't this the ultimate example of projection?
Everything that has happened in Ukraine has been done to enrich our political class, their financial backers and the defense industry.
How ironic that left rewrites American history and claims the nation was founded on imperialism while supporting imperialist policies under both Obama and Biden.
So how did we miss the countless countries that the US invaded for ? reasons.
It's a great opportunity when you can somehow "privatize" a going concern that previously was completely Government owned.
A lot of the globalists and the NeoCons dream of another mass looting event like the early 1990s, so that's what this is about.
The endless NeoCon fantasy.
I wonder what connects them all? Could it be they are ALL Golden Calf Bolsheviks. The inner circle of the GloboHomo cabal.
Russkies attacked Syria? Libya? Really?
Russia has vast quantities of natural resources and the totalitarian globalist psychopaths want it.
In short. “If we do not have a boogie man then we will make one.”
War is a Racket...Smedley Butler.
The hope is that this war will allow for the correcting of many historical wrongs:
* Sakhalin and the Kurils back to Japan
* Karelia back to Finland
* Kaliningrad back to Poland
* Amur back to China
In exchange for facilitating this the USA should be granted West Alaska (formerly known as Siberia)
russia just needs to go woke
then they can do whatever they want
Well, Russia is the last extant colonial power, deep into the anti-colonial age. Whether they are “decolonized” by some external force or not, they should not reasonably expect to be able to hold on to that position forever.
