Putin issues threat to US: Vladimir says 'we will deploy more than tanks' and warns 'we have friends on America continent' as he claims Russia is 'again' threatened by German tanks at WW2 ceremony

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that Russia was being threatened by German tanks, like during World War Two, speaking at an event in Volgograd, formerly Stalingrad, marking the Soviet victory over Nazi forces in the city.

'It's unbelievable but true. We are again being threatened by German Leopard tanks,' Putin said, adding that Russia had an 'answer' to any country that threatened it.

Putin appeared to have brought his 'nuclear football' to Volgograd.

Aides were seen close to the dictator carrying two black bags.

Observers believed one was a fold-up shield to protect Putin in the event of shooting, while the other is likely to contain Russia's nuclear key.

A security officer carrying the 'nuclear bag' has been seen previously close to Putin during the war with Ukraine.

Russian officials and propagandists have threatened the West with nuclear strikes over their military support for Ukraine.

As an American, the best advice I can offer to Taiwan is *never* follow the advice of Americans.

Taiwan, decide for yourselves what you want to do. The former state of Ukraine is being destroyed for listening to Americans.

The entire thinking world is going to come to accept who instigated the Maidan Coup and who sabotaged Nord I and Nord II.

Yep, I listen to Tucker Carlson all the time and it is very plain he is a Russian asset. He praises Putin every night, calls for the destruction of the United States.

On the other hand, I would not have thought it was possible for someone to be so freaking stupid as to post those pictures in response on this site.

It is not really amazing how little you know about Putin’s level of participation in the Russian Orthodox church.

You really need to shut up about things you are ignorant about...

It is amazing that you post the crap you did without any idea what you are talking about.

And yet they are still talking about doing that very thing. Precluding, uncategorically, Ukraine’s membership in NATO is what is required.

I’d say any talk of converting Mexico into a vassal state of Russia would be met with not a little belicosity.

"A war with Russia brings on Civil War 2.0 here."

I've thought about that. Just look at what the OP implied, and what its fellow travelers have suggested on other threads. I saw one of them derisively talk about Trump supporters.
I have a feeling that elements will use protracted conflict in Ukraine, if our troops are involved, as a pretext to go after their domestic 'enemies'.

And lets look at who some of those elements are: Biden (Burisma) and those in his 'orbit', WEF aligned people (Eyepatch McCain), Bolton, et al. These people in one way or another have been 'at war' with the large swath of America Tea Party/Maga/Deplorables. And they've been mucking around to pad their own interests, not the benefit of the US.

So yeah, I think it could spark a war here. But I'm sure the calculus has been worked on--think of Obama purging military command, and who has been purged via vax mandates. In addition, we have a sponsored invasion through the Douthern border--what happens when those elements promise people all the freebies if they 'fight for them' to 'save our Democracy'?

Putin provides a good show of being a believing Russian Orthodox Christian. It is amazing how much mileage he gets from paleoconservatives in attending the liturgy every so often and making the Sign of the Cross now and again. Few conservatives believe that Biden is a good Christian, his regular attendance at Mass notwithstanding.

He had me fooled on his Orthodoxy. I respected and liked Putin. And also because he was anti=gay. And passed anti-gay laws. But all this went out the window. After he invaded Ukraine.

Putin's seizure of Crimea in 2014? I never paid attaention to this, when I should have.

Tucker is in a panic because his personal text messages trashing President Trump from Nov 2020 - Feb 2021 will be released in April during the Dominion trial. And if Murdoch settles the lawsuit, Tucker’s texts will still be leaked by The NY Times. The Tuckerbots will be shocked about what their hero was saying in his texts about President Trump while The Steal was taking place.

That’s a very real possibility. It’s kind of hard to win a world war when your country is embroiled in a domestic war. Either way we would definitely lose a world war. There’s no cohesion. Maybe that’s what they want so China can come in and take over.

Yup it’s getting plain to see That whenever the US gets involved in the country and the country follows it’s advice, people die, countries collapse yeah I wouldn’t listen to American either. it’s harsh but Taiwan’s best bet is reunification. it’s but it keeps it people alive.

The US govt. went looking for trouble on Russia’s border, on the opposite side of the planet and has found it. We’re going to regret this.

A point well taken. Looks like many politicians as well as people in leadership positions have gone from dumb to stupid.

Even before World War II, when there were arguments between Isolationists and Interventionists, the vast majority on both sides agreed that Hitler was a bad guy, and therefore after Pearl Harbor, the country was united when we were at a State of War with Germnany.

I don’t see that kind of concensus happening again in this country when it comes to an enemy.

Russia is not “threatened” by aide sent to Ukraine to help them defend themselves. The only one threatening others is Russia. Just go home all of this will end.

“And they have to be replaced frequently.”

They require service, not replacement.
