Rhymes with BOROS, DOROS and MOROS.
The story is by-lined in Madison, but Lynn Adelman sits in the Eastern District, in Milwaukee. If Rittenhouse is indeed a resident of FL, I think they need to sue him where he resides. Venue is important. This is a civil matter, so the standard is preponderance of evidence. You get a case like this in a venue like Madison or Milwaukee and Rittenhouse loses, bigly.
What I figure also.
I wonder what a dead wood-pusher is worth in the victim lottery these days?
The left is setting up a Fred Goldman scenario.
At some point, they will compare Kyle Rittenhouse to O. J. Simpson, and try to say that Rittenhouse was acquitted but was really guilty, just like OJ.
They will go after Rittenhouse just like the way that Fred Goldman went after Simpson at every opportunity that Simpson made money.
OJ killed his wife over jealousy and Goldman out of opportunity, while Rittenhouse was being chased by people with deadly weapons and intent to use them.
There is no comparison between the two cases, but the LAAP-dog media will slant the coverage of the persecution of Rittenhouse in any way they can, and the Fred Goldman scenario is their best analogy to use.

The judge needs to be removed. He proved he doesn’t have enough intelligence to judge anything.
They’re going to drain him of every dollar he won in his defamation lawsuits.
Kyle’s Lawyers fart in their general direction...
There should be no possibility of civil liability without a criminal conviction in cases like this.
Man dies after being hit in head with skateboard during fight in Santa Ana Starbucks

No. Huber is the one who attacked Rittehouse with the skateboard. As I recall, he was a convicted felon, convicted of domestic abuse.
That is not necessarily correct. They might indeed be able to file suit in Wisconsin, if they can convince a judge to accept the filing, or if they can catch him physically in the State for even just a few minutes to serve a process on him.
Even "minimum contacts" with relatives or family members in Wisconsin could be enough of a pretext for a judge to rule that the State has jurisdiction.
Of course, they can always sue him in whatever place he claims to be a resident, but as you pointed out, the most favorable venue would be Madison or Milwaukee.
No matter how they do it, Rittenhouse will need to spend several hundred thousand dollars to defend against a civil suit. "The process is the punishment".
Fortunately, he has money.
He’s not being charged. He’s being sued for the killing.
I can see this case only succeeding with a biased, liberal judge, and sure to be defeated on appeal.
I hope he’s got benefactors for all the legal bills, because I’m sure the family is well funded by Soros types.
I believe they intend to destroy him like they did Dr. Tim Ball.

I thought the Simpson lawsuit was in a Cal state court. The Rittenhouse suit is in federal court (Judge that OKed the suit was appointed by Slick Willie) maybe because they are trying to use some firearms-across-state-line angle.
Thanks Frank. That may be true in the general populace.
I’m referring to some of the rulings coming down today.
These justices seem to have no common sense whatsoever.
My 40 points was pretty much tongue in cheek, but you
certainly have to wonder. I was reading about a guy
that raped a four year old and a (nine year old, I
believe it was). The judge gave him six months in
jail/prison.
How on Earth could he deem that justice?
It’s a New York case, but Dunham vs. Village of Caniesteo is generally accepted as precedent, and aside from the lack of a “ministerial relationship” between the deceased and the police, the deceased was part and parcel of the “dangerous situation,” because he went around attacking people and vandalizing businesses. Ridiculous. Rittenhouse will have to lawyer up, which takes money that he and his family do not have.
Agree. Poor quality of judges is shocking.
Also I hope you haven’t heard my repeat of the Beyond the Fringe early 1960s Dudley Moore and Peter Cook skit about the two coal miners in England contemplating their waning years.
1st: What would you do if your body goes and your mind is gone so you’re useless for coal mining. You just couldn’t do it any more.
2nd: If I get that way and my mind goes I’d leave mining and go into something else like judging.
