“Some people HATE the fact that I got along well with President Putin of Russia,” he said Wednesday. “They would rather go to war than see this.”
Unfortunately, that has not stuck in the minds of the leftist media, because Trump did misspeak, as reported earlier in the article:
“My people came to me, Dan coats came to me and some others and said they think it’s Russia,” he said. “I have President Putin. He just said it’s not Russia. I will say this, I don’t see any reason why it would be.” On Tuesday, after bipartisan denouncement of the comment, Trump said he misspoke. “In a key sentence in my remarks, I said the word ‘would’ instead of ‘wouldn’t,’” he said.

Not only do Trump's continued cringeworthy statements all but preclude his winning the GOP nom, they will damage whomever does win the nom.
The Dems will run against Trump even though he is not selected as our candidate.
They will use excerpts such as Donald Trump Says He Trusts Putin More Than U.S. Intelligence... over, and over, and over, and then force a connection to Trump and our actual and elected GOP nom.
They only way to ensure compliance (other than a thorough vetting beforehand for the appointment to the position) is to have the Sargeant at Arms slap them in irons as soon as it is shown they are lying under oath. Of course the mockingbirds would get the vapors, but it would hit home that the hearing is serious.
Newsweek in an attempt to smear President does not make it know that most any enemy is more trustworthy that a backstabbing ‘friend’.
I know I would not want to be someone attempting to defend any Washington agency much less any of the dozen or so ‘intellegence” agencies
I think you need to ween yourself off DJT and move on to a more moderate, sedate politician. Everyone would benefit.

The nutjob fringe always love it when Trump praises Putin. I guess they’re not tired of losing yet.

I don’t trust either.
But some things should remain unsaid.

“Now add McGonigal & other slime to the list. Who would you choose, Putin or these Misfits?”

It’s such a shame that Trump continues to fuel the nutbags with this type of shyt. Supporting the murderous despot Putin is radioactive in the normal world. Hate to see him shoot himself in the foot like this.

This is an example of the good Trump. Less and less examples like this unfortunately these days.
He’s on America’s side. The intel community is on the side of suppressing America as a republic, and running it according to their nazi ethos they adopted in the wake of WWII.
The entire intel community is treasonous. None of them have exposed the assassinations, domestic spying and outright lies. The recognize no Congressional or even executive branch control. They ran spying operations and a color revolution against President Trump.
