The real legal issue here was uncovered by his legal team - congressional testimony (by Ted Kennedy, no less,) said that the FACR bill was designed to exclude escorts.
That means every pending DOJ case that involves merely an interaction between a defendant and an escort has no legal basis.
Also, any previous convictions under the FACE that only include an escort could be vacated.
