Employees at the Kochav Yam daycare center in Herzliya shared words of joy on social media following the massacre at a Jerusalem synagogue on Friday night, praising the terrorist who carried out the attack.
The employees shared images from the scene of the attack as well as celebrations from the Arab street, adding PLO flags and a finger emoji of the victory sign to their posts.
Frightened parents came across the words of praise for the attack, and turned to the daycare administrators demanding action against the employees. The kindergarten administrators told the parents that the workers would no longer be welcome at the daycare and that they had been summoned for a hearing.
One mother of a child at the daycare wrote to her friends in a private Facebook group: "Hey moms, after the terrorist incident yesterday in Jerusalem, two aides from my son's kindergarten put up a post supporting the attack. The administrators of the kindergarten sent us a message that the aides are summoned to a hearing and will no longer enter the kindergarten."

The municipality stated: "The Herzliya municipality takes the issue seriously and the assistants will be summoned to a hearing. We are working to terminate their employment."

Some people did something..
Here’s an idea.
Don’t put your kids inn daycare. Keep them home with you.
Believe it or not, there are tons of perfectly decent moslems in Israel, being largely the groups that were just fine with the establishment of a Jewish state and opted to become citizens.
The whackos are the ones who left and now come back for economic reasons.
Historically, the Arab Nazarenes were the most violent and antisemitic. This has recently flipped 180 as they have been persecuted by moslems.
And, heck, there are some firmly anti-Zionist Jewish sects (generally Hasidic) that are probably the worst of the lot.
It’s not nearly as clean cut as you would think.
This is probably more akin to “Mother’s Day out”.
Stay at home moms who have to have a couple of hours a few days a week to go to the doctor or the store or whatever. Plus, helps with socialization once kindergarten starts.
Not 8 to 5 daycare.
Modern parents worship money. Time spent with their kids is time they can't use to make more money.
Sure you can. Line all this human trash up and shoot them. It could have been them who suddenly "got the word" and then murdered all the kids in their care.
You’d have to climb a real steep mountain. Arabs are everywhere. Not every one of them are into murder and terror, not even most. But enough are to make life difficult. Some are decent, upright people.
They don’t have family or friends who can help?
Not everyone is so blessed or willing to impose on others.
Most are not so presumptuous, I would think.
I lived several hours from my family and had virtually no help raising my three kids. You do what you have to and they went everywhere with me.
Babysitters were sometimes the best available for hire and I knew them from church, however, but no way would I have ever used daycare.
Where are the dads, BTW? They can’t help with their own kids?
The mother has no parents, no friends, no siblings or other relatives to whom she can go for support or help?
I can’t believe that these mothers don’t have other options if the need is simply for a break from the kids.
And it’s no presumptuous to ask a relative or expect dad to help.
There is such a thing as trading favors with friends who also have small children.
