Well considering NeoCon’s track record over the last few decades my guess : it ends with America pissing away a lot of money and everything worse off than when we started

Chaos, death, destruction, and the plundering of the nation’s treasure.

The neocon track record includes the elimination and disintegration of the Soviet Union.

Turning almost all of Eastern Europe and central Europe into nato allies.

Containment of China through strong alliances with Japan Australia and others. The preservation of Taiwan.

Defeat of Al-Qaeda.

Iraq is now a democracy.

Little things like that.

Short wars are an illusion.
A lesson the Russians should have learned in Afghanistan.
A lesson the Americans should have learned in Vietnam
and Afghanistan.
Still it’s an attractive proposition that finds gullible
adherents. It’s a societal pitcher plant.
How this one will conclude has yet to be determined...

Alexander Mercouris on the neocons, Friday:

26:06 But back to the neocons: they're running the show here, and I think it was obvious from the briefing yesterday to the Senate that Victoria Nuland is firmly in charge.

In my opinion, she's firmly in charge of this operation. She's in charge of the Europeans, she's in charge of of the Americans - she's driving this train, this car - absolutely!

I mean that's the one thing (by the way) the neocons are extremely good at - they're extremely good at manipulating people into wars.

They did that over Iraq, they did that over Syria, they did that over Libya.

The one thing the neocons are hopeless at is winning these wars, but they're getting people into these wars, in effect, by engaging in what you might call psychological blackmail to push people into wars.

They do this very well - that's exactly what they do.

They smear - they're very good at smearing their enemies.

You know, talk about Neville Chamberlain and appeasement was conjured up when Schultz was dithering over tanks and of course instead of him coming along out and telling these people to take a running jump and go away, which is what he should do and what a real leader would do, he gets scared.
