adherents. It’s a societal pitcher plant.

No good guys here and the mis-information is so thick it is impossible to know who is winning. In truth—no one is winning but the arms merchants and the people who make body bags.
In time, when people are sick of all the killings, the war will end. It will not be a ten year war but it could last another five. All wars end—only a few have total defeat like WW II. Goal should be to contain the thing—not expand it. Cooler heads needs to be in charge.
