DANA POINT, Calif. – EXCLUSIVE – Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel says that after winning an unprecedented in modern times fourth term as chair of the GOP, there won’t be a fifth term in her future.
"This is my last term as chair. I'm saying it on Fox News. It's done," McDaniel declared Friday in an exclusive interview with Fox News.
Minutes earlier, McDaniel won the support of 111 committee members who cast ballots in a secret ballot vote for chair, more than the majority of the 168 members needed to secure re-election. The vote took place on the final day of the RNC’s winter meeting, which was held this year at a luxury seaside resort in Southern California’s Orange County.
McDaniel topped her main challenger, RNC committee member from California Harmeet Dhillon, who won the support of 51 committee members. MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump’s repeated re-litigating of the 2020 presidential election and who ran a long shot bid for chair, received only four votes.

No doubt some committee members are enjoying some kickbacks from all those high roller donations she has been collecting.
Nothing but pigs at the trough. Every single aspect of Washington is utterly corrupt without limits.
Her last term so she can keep Trump off the 2024 ticket.
I’m beginning to view this through the Kevin McCarthy lens.
What if this was designed to get the base angry so they’ll support individual MAGA campaigns, and Ronna’s job is a controlled demolition of the GOP and destroy the big donors and consultants?

Other chairs have only served for at most 4 years (the exception was the first who was in office during the Civil War). McDaniel has been in office for 6 years already. That wouldn’t be a problem if she had a winning record, but she doesn’t. Unlike Bob Dole, Bill Brock, Mel Martinez, and Jim Gilmore, among other RNC chairs, this is her only job, and she hasn’t been that good at it.

I see her re-election as the deserved reward she gets for overseeing 2022’s Red tsunami.
Then why did she run this time with the base not being happy? Why say that after you just won?
