These videos were recorded on the evening of January 7, 2023, in Memphis, Tennessee. Video 1 is a police-issued body-worn camera near the intersection of Raines and Ross Rd. Videos 2, 3, and 4 are video footage at the second location, a residential neighborhood. Video 2 is from a pole camera and contains no audio. Videos 3 and 4 are police-issued body-worn camera videos. I’ve had several encounters with cops. Police have always been respectful and helpful, in my experience. (I’m not aware of being somehow ‘protected’.)
I think those first two fire personnel who showed up may have been firemen who arrived in a fire truck, probably to check vitals and stop bleeding. That happens when the nearest ambulance is tied up on another run. It was nearly twenty minutes later until an ambulance showed up with a gurney and carted him off.

Actually for police stops on reckless drivers, it's common for other police cars that arrive to park right in front of the violator to inhibit him from taking off, and avoid high speed chases.

im in Detroit..and dealt with Detroit Police all my life. Even when they had the “BIG 4”...the most notorious tactical unit ever. They always treated me fairly....

I’ve never been picked. I’ve always wondered if, in my jurisdiction, I’m just not the right ‘hue’. (The defense lawyers always seemed to be looking for matronly Black ladies - and I’d do the same, in their position.)
I got let out of one because a woman was suing her doc over back surgery; and I’d had lots of back issues, and lots of experience with doctors...

I’m reading the replies to this thread. Over 350 so far. It’s very easy to watch these videos, sickening as they are, and jump on the “all cops are scum” bandwagon.
Yet I keep reminding myself and let me remind everyone else, that all local law enforcement officers are but a representation of the people in the community they work for.
When you have far too many low class, low life, BLM racist, drug addled welfare clowns who vote again and again for Democrats, then you’re going to have, quite naturally, a police force made up of thugs and punks with a badge like what we see here in Memphis. Especially when good decent law abiding cops see no choice but to leave or else.
I count myself quite fortunate that I have lived all my life in a white upper class suburb without the gangs, welfare queens and other filthy problems that Memphis and other cities like it deserve.
And then 7 years ago I moved to a county here in Texas that is 97% white. So it’s easy for me to support the thin blue line. LEO’s are just like me.
Just like the cops in Memphis are just like the people in Memphis.
