Ukrainian officials last night said they expect Western allies to provide their armed forces with long-range missiles after the UK, US, Germany and several other nations agreed to send battalions of tanks long-sought by Kyiv.
Presidential advisor Mikhailo Podolyak told The Daily Telegraph: 'Right now we are seeing a sharp change in sentiment among the political elites of European countries... we will reach, I am sure, no doubt, an agreement on long-range missiles.'
In a devastating blow to the Kremlin, nine countries joined Britain yesterday in agreeing to send tanks to destroy Russia's forces in eastern Ukraine. The coalition came together just 48 hours after Boris Johnson's rallying cry in the Daily Mail, imploring the UK's allies to end their dithering.

You are getting mad at the choice of words the journalist chose. I have noticed that they often do this inflammatory thing.
Even when the diplomats themselves have no arrogance in their pleas for help the journalist can choose to add these arrogant phrases themselves because it creates “engagement”.
“Ukrainians pleading for help” doesn’t create as much.
The Ukrainians want ATACMS in order to isolate the battlefield at Zaporizhzhia/Kherson/Crimea.
To finish off the Crimea bridge for one thing. And to break a few other bridges in the region. HIMARS can reach most of them, but they lack the blast effect.

So Russia is ruthless. Nothing new here. Zelensky is also a ruthless dictator. If the US cannot see that there are no good guys in this war, they are either on the take or hopelessly stupid. Either way they should be impeached.
